Summary by regions

Luhansk Region

Units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the Stelmakhivka, Makiivka and Serebryansk forestry districts. On the Kupyansk and Lymansk directions, the enemy shelled the areas of Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Pishchany, Nevske, Dibrova, Makiivka, Ploshanka, and Chervonopivka. Mining equipment continues to be cut in occupied Dovzhansk. The situation in the region is difficult.

Donetsk Region

At night, Kostyantynivka was shelled by missiles. The former school building and private houses were damaged. Active fighting near Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Mariinka and Krasnohorivka. The situation in the region remains difficult. Over the past day in the Donetsk region: one dead and three wounded.

Sumy Region

This morning, there was mortar shelling in the vicinity of the town of Seredyno-Budsk. Information about losses among the local population or damage to civil infrastructure is being clarified.

Yesterday, during the day, the enemy shelled the Velyka Pysarivka community twice: the Russians fired mortars at one of the border villages. Shelling damaged a private house. Also, yesterday evening, the Russians opened fire on the Seredino-Budsk community. No casualties.

Kharkiv Region

Over the past day, enemy shelling was recorded in the Kupyansk, Kharkiv, Vovchansk and Izyum districts. According to preliminary information, there are no victims.

In the Kharkiv district in the village of Hlyboke, as a result of shelling by the occupiers, two houses were on fire. There were no casualties.

In the city of Balaklia, a 58-year-old woman was injured – she stepped on an explosive device. Hospitalized in moderate condition.

Dnipropetrovsk Region

At night, the Nikopol region suffered from shelling, the occupiers hit the Nikopol and Marhanets communities with «Hrads», «Uragans» and heavy artillery. No victims. Representatives of the State Emergency Service are working at the places of arrival, the details are being clarified.

Zaporizhzhia Region

Over the past day, the occupiers shelled the civilian infrastructure in the area of the settlements of Olhivske, Malynivka, Shevchenko, Novodanylivka, Orihiv, Mali Shcherbaki, Stepove, Kamianske, Gulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Dorozhnyanka, Charivne, Temyrivka, Biloghirya, Novodarivka, Novoandriivka, Shcherbaki, Mala Tokmachka, Poltavka, Plavni, Pavlivka.

12 reports were received about the destruction of houses (apartments) of citizens and infrastructure objects as a result of shelling by Russian military personnel. Detailed information on the consequences is being clarified.

Kherson Region

The occupiers do not stop attacks on civilian infrastructure and housing in the territory of the Kherson region. According to the information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, enemy troops shelled, in particular, Havrylivka, Dudchany, Kachkarivka, Zmiivka, Beryslav, Chervonyi Mayak, Lvove, Ivanivka, Zelenivka, Inzhenerne, Chornobayivka, Antonivka, Dniprovske, and the city of Kherson.

The situation is constantly tense in the territory of the temporarily occupied Henichesk urban territorial community. Many Russian military personnel are also located in the territory of the Arabat Strelka. In the liberated territories of the Kherson region, work continues to restore normal life.

The region receives humanitarian aid, electricity supply is restored.

Sean Penn’s charitable organization will provide over a million dollars to the Lviv region

CORE Response will help the Lviv region next year as well.

The CORE Response charity organization, founded by Hollywood actor and director Sean Penn, will provide the Lviv region with more than a million dollars.

Maksym Kozytskyi, the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.

In particular, the funds will be used to help displaced people who were forced to leave their homes due to the war started by Russia. So, the heating system will be improved in the premises of the shelter on the basis of the Lviv Polytechnic, where families live.

Windows and doors will also be replaced in schools, sanatoriums, and geriatric boarding houses where forced migrants are staying.

As Kozytskyi noted, CORE Response will help the region both this year and next.

«Today I had a meeting with representatives of the CORE Response charity organization. They wanted to learn about the urgent needs of the Lviv region. CORE Response representatives noted that they will take into account all the requests of the Lviv region in order to effectively allocate their capabilities and resources to support the region in 2023,» wrote Kozytskyi.
