Luhansk Region
The occupiers practice the positions of our fighters with artillery for hours, and then storm from several sides at once. Yesterday, they tried to attack in the areas of Lysychansk Refinery and Bilohorivka, but the reconnaissance battle ended in another retreat. They tried to advance from Popasna in the direction of Bakhmut. During the night, three rockets were fired, rocket and barrel artillery were used four times, mortars were used twice, enemy tank attacks were repulsed two more times.
Meanwhile, in the occupied cities of Luhansk region, the Russians resort to new methods of forced mobilization.
Donetsk Region
At night there were rocket attacks on Kurakhovo (recreation center) and Toretsk (residential private sector). During the day, Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Kramatorsk, villages were shelled by artillery, Hrad, Uragan, and Smerch anti-aircraft guns. Pervomaiske, village Maryinka, village Galytsynivka, village Karlivka, village Yakovlivka 18 private residential buildings, two high-rise buildings, an outbuilding, the premises of Avdiivka Coke Plant, a kindergarten were damaged. Five people died and 35 were injured in the region during the day (two children were among the injured).
Kharkiv Region
At night – a rocket strike in the Novobavarskyi district of the regional center (Kharkiv Cooperative Trade and Economic College), hitting the sidewalk in front of the building, the shock wave damaged the building and underground water communications, without loss.
Also tonight there was a rocket attack in the Nemyshlianskyi district of Kharkiv, a hotel and restaurant complex was damaged, and a projectile hit the lawn. Windows in houses, six trolleybuses and five cars in the parking lot were damaged, there was no fire. According to the emergency medical aid center, two people were treated on the spot in Kharkiv.
Across the region, the enemy shelled the Kharkiv, Lozova, Bohodukhiv and Chuhuiv districts. Residential buildings and commercial buildings were burning, the occupiers were shelling open areas. Four civilians were hospitalized, including a 13-year-old boy.
Dnipropetrovsk Region
The enemy again shelled the Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts. Nikopol was hit by «Hrad». 11 high-rise buildings, 13 private houses and a kindergarten were damaged. It affected the gas pipeline and the electricity network. People were not injured. In the Kryvyi Rih district, the enemy shelled the communities of Apostolove and Zelenodolsk. No damage or casualties.
Zaporizhzhia Region
On August 12, around 19:15, the enemy attacked the city of Zaporizhzhia. A total of five missiles were fired. Infrastructure facilities in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the regional center were destroyed. A fire broke out. Currently, it is known about the death of one person, one person was seriously injured, another resident of the regional center received shrapnel injuries. It was quiet at night.
The occupiers are shelling the Zaporizhzhia NPP from the village of Vodyane, and are preparing provocations under the Ukrainian flag
Sumy Region
Over the past day, the Russians shelled five border communities of the region: Yunakiv, Khotyn, Mykolayiv, Esman and Shalyhyne. 193 arrivals were recorded. There are no losses, but again there is destruction and crop loss. It’s quiet at night.
Mykolayiv Region
During the past day, the enemy struck the outskirts of the village Halytsynove. There are no casualties. The shelling of the territory and nearby settlements of the Berezneguvate community continues. During the day – shelling within and outside the village Shyroke. Hits were mainly on agricultural buildings of households. Dry grass caught fire as a result of the shelling. There are no casualties.
Kherson Region
Fighting and shelling continue throughout the region. In addition to physical and moral pressure, an information war continues on the territory of the region. Propaganda channels daily emphasize holding a «referendum» and joining Russia. There are new reports of kidnappings. If earlier Kherson residents were taken prisoner during the day, now Russian soldiers walk around the apartments even at night. The takeover of educational institutions in the region continues. Currently, the premises of the «Nova Kakhovka Higher Vocational School» are also occupied by the occupiers.

A full-scale war, which Russian dictator Vladimir Putin unleashed against Ukraine, has been going on for almost six months.
Five steps will help Ukraine win this war. Andriy Yermak, head of the President’s Office, is convinced of this.
He wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
According to Yermak, five steps will help Ukraine:
- recognition of Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism;
- visa ban for Russians;
- oil price restrictions;
- gas embargo;

supply of weapons to Ukraine.
«These steps will help us defeat Russia by destroying its economy and army, as well as deprive them of their desire to fight and blackmail the Western world,» the representative of the Ukrainian president emphasized.
