Massive shelling of Ukraine continues, Russia has fired about 60 missiles

Luhansk Region
Defense forces of Ukraine repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the areas of Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Ploshanka, Chervonpopivka and Bilohorivka settlements. In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy fired from tanks, mortars, barrel and jet artillery in the areas of Stelmakhivka and Myasozharivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy shelled the districts of Makiivka, Ploshanka, and Chervonopivka. Measures of forced mobilization in the occupied territories are intensifying. The situation in the region remains tense.
Donetsk Region
At night, there was a rocket attack on Ivanopillia of the Kostyantynivka community. The building of the workshop of the industrial facility was damaged. In the morning – artillery shelling of the territory of the dam of the Karlivka Reservoir. Also in the morning – a missile attack on the Lyman. The cafe is on fire. Information on the victims is being ascertained.
During the night, the enemy also shelled Kurakhivka. Private houses and electrical networks were damaged. Also at night, the Russians shelled the positions along the Vuhledar – Mariinka – Krasnohorivka – Avdiivka – Bakhmut combat line.
In the morning, activity increased in the Vodyane, Pervomaiske. Over the past day in the Donetsk region: seven dead, seven wounded.
Sumy Region
Yesterday, the Russians carried out 58 strikes on the border during the day. Myropillia and Krasnopillia communities were under fire. In both cases, there were no victims or destruction.
Kharkiv Region
Yesterday, the enemy launched two rocket attacks on non-residential civilian buildings in Kharkiv. Also, the enemy launched attacks from tanks and artillery on populated areas of Kharkiv, Izyum, Chuhuiv and Kupiansk districts.
In the Kupiansk direction, the occupiers fired tanks, mortars, barrel and jet artillery at the areas of the settlements of Vilshana, Ivanivka, Kislivka, Tabaivka, Kotlyarivka, Berestove and Pershotravneve. In the village of Podoly, Kupiansk district, a private house burned down as a result of shelling. In the city of Kupiansk, the enemy launched a rocket attack on the city’s central hospital. Previously, the S-300 complexes. There is a direct hit in the pharmacy building. The infectious department of the hospital was also damaged.
According to the Regional Emergency Medical Center, a 50-year-old woman died.
As of 09:00 a.m, critical infrastructure facilities were damaged as a result of the Rashist rocket attack on the Kharkiv region.
Dnipropetrovsk Region
The Russians again terrorized Nikopol. They hit the Marhanets community with heavy artillery. No victims. The consequences of the attack are being investigated.
Zaporizhzhia Region
During the past day, the occupiers shelled the civilian infrastructure in the area of the settlements of Orihiv, Gulyaipole, Stepove, Shevchenko, Temyrivka, Zaliznychne, Stepnohirsk, Dorozhnyanka, Chervone, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Shcherbaki, Olhivske, Poltavka, Charivne, Kamianske, Mali Shcherbaki. 26 reports were received about the destruction of houses (apartments) of citizens and infrastructure objects as a result of shelling by Russian military personnel. Information about the consequences is being clarified.
Kherson Region
The enemy does not stop the terror of the region. According to the information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy is shelling the positions of our troops and civilian infrastructure along the right bank of the Dnipro River. In particular, the districts of Novotyahinka, Ivanivka, Tokarivka, Ingulets, Prydniprovske, Antonivka, Dniprovske, Bilozerka, Yantarne and the city of Kherson. Yesterday, the Russian occupiers shelled the center of Kherson. The enemy targeted a critical infrastructure facility and residential quarters. As a result of the Russian attack, two people died, one of them is a volunteer, a member of the rapid response unit of an international organization.
In total, 13 people were injured in the Kherson region due to enemy shelling last day. Of them, four people died, nine adults received medical assistance. Power engineers are working to restore electricity in the city of Kherson, which was cut off yesterday. Food kits and fresh bread are delivered to the communities of the Kherson region every day, and humanitarian aid is received.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi is confident that he can defeat the Russian enemy. But this requires resources.
General Zaluzhnyi told about this in an interview with the British publication «The Economist».
«I need 300 tanks, 600-700 BMPs, 500 howitzers. Then, I think, it is quite realistic to reach the border on February 23. But I will not be able to do it with two brigades. I get what I get, but it is less than what I need «, – he said.
It will be recalled that Zaluzhnyi reported that as of December 15, the Ukrainian army is well equipped. However, the Defense Forces need weapons and military equipment.
