Luhansk Region
During the past 24 hours, the Russians tried to attack the positions of the Ukrainian military from different directions on the border of Luhansk region and Donetsk region 11 times.
During each of these attempts, the Ukrainian military inflicted losses on the enemy and forced them to retreat.
Already towards the night of August 18, the enemy’s sabotage and reconnaissance group tried to improve the tactical position, but it did not succeed. The occupiers resorted to artillery support, using cannons and rocket systems of salvo fire four times. Tank attacks were also recorded. The Russians used air influence four more times.
Donetsk Region
During the night, there was a missile attack on Toretsk, an air strike on Bakhmut. Artillery shelling of Toretsk continues to this day. There are wounded civilians.
Shelling of the village of Svitle, hitting the premises of an agricultural enterprise. No victims. Over the past 24 hours – shelling by S-300 anti-aircraft missiles, Hurricanes, Hrad anti-aircraft missile defense systems, artillery. Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Druzhkivka, Krasnohorivka, Fedorivka, Netailovo and other settlements were fired upon.
35 private residential buildings, one high-rise building, four units of agricultural machinery, two buildings of a utility company, and a school were damaged.
In one day, three civilians were killed and six wounded in the region. Evacuation of the population continues.
Kharkiv Region
At night, the occupiers attacked Kharkiv, destroying a 3-story building on Saltivka with a rocket. 7 people died, 17 were injured
In the morning, they struck again, about five times, in the Slobidskyi and Kholodnohirskyi districts.
In the Slobidskyi district, a hostel was hit, 18 injured, two dead. The work of services continues. In the morning, there was also a hit in Krasnohrad, houses were destroyed, previously – two wounded, the rubble is still being sorted out.
Throughout the region, during the day, the Russians shelled Kharkiv, Izyum, Chuhuiv, and Bohodukhiv districts.
Zaporizhzhia Region
Tonight, around 03:00, the enemy launched a rocket attack on Zaporizhzhia from the Vasylivka district. According to preliminary information, the occupier used rocket systems of volley fire.
Four rockets hit an infrastructure object in the Shevchenkivkyi district. As a result of the enemy attack, one person was injured. The facility was slightly damaged.
Dnipropetrovsk Region
The enemy struck again in Kryvyi Rih and Nikopol districts. Nikopol was fired upon twice. Wounded woman. She is in the hospital. In the city, 15 houses, farm buildings, cars, a school, a shop and a church were damaged. Two gas furnaces and power lines were also damaged.
In the Kryvyi Rih district, the Apostoliv community came under attack from the enemy «Hurricanes». It passed without victims and destruction.
Mykolayiv Region
This morning – shelling outside the village Shyroke. Hits were in agricultural buildings. There are no casualties.
Yesterday, as a result of enemy shelling of the Voskresenske community, one person was injured and a residential building was damaged. At approximately 17:20, shelling of the village was recorded Shevchenkove. There is damage to residential buildings and farm buildings. There are no casualties.
Shelling of the territory and nearby settlements of the Berezneguvate community continues. Information on victims and damage is being clarified.
Kherson Region
Over the past day, significant explosions have been heard in the Nova Kakhovka community and on the territory of the Beryslav district. The Armed Forces destroyed the base of the Russian military, which was located in Nova Kakhovka.
For almost three months, residents of the Kherson region have been without mobile and Internet connections. Currently, the occupiers are launching a new provider in Kherson on the basis of the previously captured Norma and Kyivstar equipment. From now on, consumers of these providers will use MirTelecom’s Russian internet.
The occupiers actively use propaganda materials on the territory of the region. A number of video stories about the prospects of the Kherson region’s joining Russia, as well as a mass search for personnel in various institutions, are broadcast in the news on enthusiastic local TV channels.

In just a few days, Ukrainians collected funds for four «People’s Bayraktars», which were given to the Armed Forces absolutely free of charge. So where did this money go – Serhii Prytula, the initiator of the large-scale collection, said.
Thus, for the 600 million hryvnias that Ukrainians collected for the purchase of «Bayraktars», the charitable foundation of Serhiy Prytula purchased a satellite. It will provide access to the company’s Iceye satellite image database for more than a year, which will allow the military to plan operational operations.
Prytula told about this on his YouTube channel.
«Ukrainians, you are space! We bought a satellite,» Prytula said.
According to him, the satellite gives Ukraine access to the database of satellite images of the constellation of satellites of the company «Iceye».
«We bought this access more than a year in advance. From now on, our army will receive high-quality satellite images as quickly as possible, which will help us with operational planning of operations,» Prytula emphasized.
The head of the charitable foundation thanked the Minister of Defense Oleksiy Reznikov for his cooperation and congratulated the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence Kirill Budanov with a new «weapon» against the occupiers in the arsenal.
«I don’t know of such cases in history, when the people – from the old to the young – threw down their money and bought a satellite for their state,» said Prytula.
