Luhansk Region
Over the past day, the Russians have launched seven rocket attacks, three mortar attacks, two attacks with the use of barrel artillery and two more with the support of jet artillery on the border of the regions. The authorities of the Russian Federation and the occupation administration of the «LNR» continue their efforts to create the illusion of broad public support for the aggressive actions of the Russian Federation and the inculcation of racist ideology. For this purpose, the Center for Support of Civic Initiatives was opened in Luhansk on the basis of the humanitarian center of the All-Russian political party «United Russia».
The occupation administration of the recently captured city of Severodonetsk distributed handwritten announcements about the enrollment of children in schools and kindergartens, as well as invitations to work for teachers, educators and assistant educators.
Donetsk Region
The enemy shelled Kurakhove, Toretsk, Avdiivka, Kramatorsk, Soledar, Slovyansk, Bakhmut, Hirnyk, Zalizne, Kostyantynivka, and the village Vesele, Opytne, Novoukrainka, Bohoiavlenka, Pivdenne
56 objects were damaged, including 20 private houses and 16 multi-apartment buildings.
During the night and morning – missile strikes on Kostyantynivka and Toretsk; artillery bombardment of Avdiivka, damaged a school, a colony, a number of infrastructural and industrial facilities. Information about the victims is currently being clarified.
Five people died and 16 were injured in the region during the day.
Chernihiv Region
At night, three shellings of settlements in the Novhorod-Siverskyi and Chernihiv districts (machine guns, multiple rocket launchers) were recorded. No victims. Information about the destruction is being clarified.
Kyiv Region
A rocket was shot down in the sky of Bila Tserkva district in Kyiv region yesterday evening. There are no casualties or damage. Debris fell into the field.
Sumy Region
This morning there was a mortar shelling of Shalyhyne community. The shelling is currently continuing.
Yesterday, the Russians shelled the border territories and settlements of the Sumy region with various types of weapons – about 78 parishes.
The territories of Bilopillia, Nova Sloboda, Khotyn, Esman territorial communities were shelled. Fortunately, no losses.
Kharkiv Region
At night in the village In Zolochiv, a fire broke out on the territory of a household due to shelling. Also at night, the occupiers hit Chuhuiv again, a shell fell on the territory of the school near the administration building, the school building was damaged, there were no casualties.
During the day, the Russians shelled Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, Izyum, and Bohodukhiv districts with artillery; there were fires in residential buildings, farm buildings, and in open areas.
Wounded from shelling during the day in the region: two in the Kharkiv district, one in the Chuhuiv district. One person died in Balakliia.
Zaporizhzhia Region
Yesterday evening, the enemy shelled the city center of Huliaipole with «Hrad» and artillery. According to preliminary information, there are casualties. The buildings of the executive committee, the city council, the cultural and sports complex, the post and communications branch, and private houses were destroyed. Rescuers of the State Emergency Service are engaged in extinguishing fires. Other details and consequences are being further clarified.
Dnipropetrovsk Region
At night, the enemy shelled Nikopol from «Hrad». Two dead, nine injured. Six of the wounded are in hospital, four of them are children. In the city, 3 private residential buildings were completely destroyed, more than 10 were damaged. Rescuers continue to dismantle the rubble and find out the extent of the destruction.
Odesa Region
At night, the enemy launched a missile attack using Su-35 aircraft. One of the missiles was destroyed by air defense forces, the second hit an abandoned warehouse building. The fire was promptly extinguished by rescuers. There are no casualties.

To date, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have liberated more than a thousand cities and villages of Ukraine from the Russian occupiers. The defenders have to liberate more than 2,500 small villages and towns.
Since the beginning of the large-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already destroyed more than 38,700 occupiers. During the day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated another 200 occupiers and shot down a plane

The name of the new leader of the Conservative Party will be known on September 5. He will automatically become the new prime minister.

The name of the new leader of the Conservative Party will be known on September 5. He will automatically become the new prime minister. However, the head of government still has to be formally approved by Queen Elizabeth II.
