Luhansk Region
On June 27, the Russian army opened fire from rocket-propelled grenade launchers on a cluster of Lysychansk locals who had reached the water. As a result, eight people died on the spot, including a child. Another 21 people were injured to varying degrees.
The occupiers stormed Lysychansk from the southern and southwestern directions. the Russian army is trying to block the city and subdue transport links with Donetsk.
The occupiers purposefully fired on three pumping stations, one of which is located in Novodruzhesk. Two bridges and a road tunnel connecting two separate parts of the city were destroyed. For a day – 11 dead and 22 wounded civilians.
Donetsk Region
Shelling the entire front line. Avdiivka (Avdiivka Coke Plant, Housing Sector, Garage Cooperative) and Bakhmut (Petrochemical Plant, Bus Station, Railway, Housing Sector) came under fire.
The occupiers also fired on Kramatorsk (residential sector, railway line, power lines), Krasnohorivka (residential sector), Selidove (mine), Slavyansk (residential sector, SES building), Toretsk (non-residential premises), Ocheretyne, Lastochkine, Netaylove, Otailovo and Pervomaiske. Two civilians were killed and six were injured.
Poltava Region
As a result of a hit in the mall, the bodies of 18 people were found in the morning (one person died at the hospital). A total of 59 people sought medical help, 24 were hospitalized, six of them in serious condition.
Search and rescue operations and dismantling of debris continue. Amstor Shopping Center is completely destroyed.
The second missile hit the territory of one of the enterprises. The span of one of the buildings, windows in all buildings of the enterprise were destroyed, and a two-storey building was damaged. Two workers were injured in the rocket attack.
Sumy Region
All day long, the Russians fired from artillery and jet artillery, firing more than 200 shells and mines. No damage, one wounded.
Kharkiv Region
In the regional center as a result of night blows, occupiers hit educational institutions, among civilian victims not present. A total of 30 people were injured and five more died as a result of shelling in the Nemyshlyany and Saltiv districts in Kharkiv.
Kharkiv, Bohodukhiv, and Chuhuiv districts came under fire. Two people were injured in Chuhuiv district, and one in Bohodukhiv district.
Chernihiv Region
At night there was mortar shelling near the village of Zarichchya, Novgorod-Siversky district. No casualties or damage were reported. Details are being clarified.
Zaporizhzhia Region
In the evening of June 27 there were arrivals of the enemy jet system of volley fire on one of the settlements of the Zaporozhye area for 15 kilometers from the regional center. Details of the consequences are being clarified. In another part of the region the situation is without significant changes.
Dnipropetrovsk Region
The enemy fired from long-range weapons at two communities in the Kryvyi Rih district – Shirokivska and Zelenodolska. Previously, people were not injured. The extent of the destruction is being clarified.
Mykolayiv Region
On the morning of June 28, Mykolayiv came under massive rocket fire. Information on victims and consequences is being clarified.
At about 4 a.m. they fired on the Shyrokiv community in the Bashtanskyi district, hitting agricultural land. There are no victims. In the morning there were also shellings in the Ingul community. The shelling continues in the Bereznehuvatskyi community. The shelling of villages along the line of contact continues. According to preliminary information, the infrastructure and residential buildings are damaged and destroyed in some places.
In the Mykolayiv area last night there were attacks on the village of the Estuary of the Halytsyn community. As a result of the night shelling of the Kutsurub community, the social infrastructure was destroyed. There was a fire in the field with winter wheat, but without casualties. Ochakiv was shelled at 4 am today. The occupiers hit the territory of the city market, the building of the Palace of Culture, the private sector, as well as residential buildings.
Currently, some areas of the city lack water, gas and energy supplies and the Internet. Three people died, including one child. Seven people were injured.
Also on the morning of June 28, the Mishkovo-Pohorilivska, Halytsynivska, and Shevchenkivska communities came under fire. According to preliminary information, no casualties.
Kherson Region
The Russians continue to shell the liberated settlements of the Armed Forces and hold positions in the occupied territories of Kherson region.
The occupiers are fighting with all kinds of weapons, firing rockets even at small villages where there is no military infrastructure.
The situation is stable in Vysokopilska, Novovorontsovska, Velykooleksandrivska, Kalynivska communities and those settlements bordering on Mykolayiv region. Numerous explosions in recent days have taken place in the Kakhovka district.

The forensic lab will soon begin collecting DNA samples and identifying the dead.
As a result of a missile strike on the Amstor shopping center in Kremenchug, 21 people remain missing. However, they may be among the 18 dead. Most bodies are unrecognizable because they are very badly burned.
This was announced during a briefing on June 28 by Interior Minister Denys Monastyrskyi.
So far, rescuers have dismantled 60% of the debris at the scene of the tragedy. The death toll is likely to rise. According to Monastyrskyi, rescuers will try to completely dismantle the shopping center by the morning of June 29.
«We have many fragments of bodies that need to be identified. A special forensic laboratory has left here, which has been handed over to us to investigate war crimes by international partners. It will allow DNA samples to be collected here and identified,» Monastyrskyi said.
Relatives will hand over samples to determine who is among the dead. Identification takes several days. The speed with which results are obtained depends on how quickly people donate DNA.
