Donetsk Region
The enemy launched airstrikes (X-59 rocket, rocket of an unknown type), fired from Hurricane, Hrad, and artillery rocket launchers at populated areas of the region. Avdiivka (housing sector, cultural center) were shelled; Bakhmut (housing sector); Kurakhove (housing sector); Chasiv Yar (residential sector, school, police station); New York city (residential sector); Zoryane village (residential sector); Lastochkine village (house of culture); Netaylové village (residential sector); Orlivka village (residential sector); the village of Severne (Severne) (residential sector); village of Tonenke (residential sector).
13 objects were damaged (three residential buildings (including 1 multi-apartment building), 2 commercial buildings, 2 shops, two cultural buildings, a school, a police station, the premises of PJSC «AKHZ», the premises of the Chasiv Yar Refractory Plant.
In the Donetsk region: one dead, five wounded per day.
Sumy Region
At night, artillery shelling was carried out in the direction of Khotyn community, Sumy district, four rounds. with. Stetskivka of the Sumy district – artillery shelling, 5 parishes. As a result of the shelling, the power supply line was damaged.
At night, there were three mortar rounds on the territory of Bilopillia community. There are also three roads along the Seredyno-Budsk community. At night – 15 explosions occurred on the territory of the Nova Sloboda community. In advance – without consequences.
Yesterday, during the day, the Russians shelled 5 territorial communities of the region: Nova Sloboda, Krasnopillia, Esman, Shalyhyne, Bilopillia. 31 arrivals were recorded. Also, during the evening air alert, around 19.00, air defense was working.
Kharkiv Region
In the Slobozhansk direction, during the day, the enemy shelled the settlements of Chervona Zorya, Veterinarne, Strelecha, Krasne, Ternova, Okhrimivka, Potykhonove, Dvorichna, and Kindrashivka. Used an unmanned aerial vehicle with a combat load near Budarok.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy carried out artillery shelling of the areas of Masyutivka, Lyman Pershyi, Kupiansk and Kislivka.
Yesterday morning in the village the administrative building of the police station was damaged as a result of shelling from the Grad anti-aircraft missile system in Kindrasivka, Kupiansk district.
As a result of yesterday’s shelling in the city of Chuhuiv, a 5-story residential building in the military town was damaged. A 52-year-old man and a 13-year-old boy were injured. The man is hospitalized. The boy received medical help on the spot.
The enemy also shelled the village with mortars. Chervona Zorya, Zolochiv, Bohodukhiv district. No casualties.
Dnipropetrovsk Region
Yesterday afternoon, the enemy shelled Nikopol and the Marhanets community. No victims. Damaged farm. There is destruction in two private houses and farm buildings. At night, Nikopol again experienced two shellings. The Russians fired with heavy artillery. Nikopol and the Chervonohryhorivka community were targeted. A boiler house, several shops and a pharmacy were damaged.
Russian shells hit 8 high-rise buildings, 5 garages and 3 cars. Power lines were cut and hydrogen was vandalized. People were not injured.
Zaporizhzhia Region
At night, the enemy launched a rocket attack on the city of Zaporizhzhia: one S-300 rocket hit a 5-story residential building. As a result of the rocket impact, the upper floors were destroyed, and people are under the rubble.
Another rocket hit the yard near a 5-story building. As a result of the rocket hitting, nearby houses were damaged (windows and doors were broken, cars were damaged). Information about the victims is being clarified, units of the State Emergency Service are working at the scene.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, the occupiers shelled civilian infrastructure in the area of the settlements of Gulyaipole, Novodanylivka, Malynivka, Bilohirya, Novoandriivka, Olhivske, Malynivka, Mala Tokmachka, Chervone, Charivne, Kamianske, Stepove, and Mali Shcherbaki.
27 reports were received about the destruction of houses (apartments) of citizens and infrastructure objects as a result of shelling. Other consequences are established.
Kherson Region
According to the information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy continues to shell the areas of populated areas of the region, including Zmiivka, Kozatske, Vesele, Beryslav, Inzhenerne, Antonivka, Berehove, Veletenske, Bilozerka, Dniprovske, and the city of Kherson.
In the village of Zmiivka in the Kherson Region, two men were wounded by a Russian attack. This is a 54-year-old local resident who received a shrapnel wound to the foot, and a 34-year-old volunteer from Kryvyi Rih – his injuries are more severe. Russian artillery hit Chornobayivka. A one-year-old child was wounded by enemy fire. The boy is in a moderate condition, his ears and face were injured by shards of glass. An anti-tank mine detonated a tractor in a field near the village of Arkhanhelske, as a result of which two people were injured, there are local residents who were in it. The injured were taken to the Velyka Oleksandrivka Hospital for medical assistance. In the territory of the village of Kozatske 8 objects in the private sector were damaged. In total, 11 people were injured in the Kherson region during the day due to Russian aggression. 65 people were evacuated by motor vehicles from the de-occupied territories of the Kherson region, 6 of them are children.

The Russian occupiers concentrated all their forces on the capture of the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, a large number of tanks and artillery were brought to the area, the «Wagner» used its most combat-ready units in the offensive. On March 2, the General Staff of the Armed Forces described the situation in the Bakhmut direction as follows:
«The enemy continues to advance. The city of Bakhmut is being stormed. Our defenders repelled attacks in the areas of the settlements of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut and Ivanivske. Bondarne, Zaliznianske, Orihovo-Vasylivka, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Ivanovske, Klishchiivka Chasiv Yar and New York of Donetsk region came under enemy fire».
The commander of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi, visited Bakhmut at the end of February and assessed the situation there as extremely tense.
«Despite significant losses, the enemy attacked the most prepared «Wagner» assault units, which are trying to break through the defense of our troops and surround the city,» the commander of the Ground Forces emphasizes.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov says that the Russian army is losing 500 soldiers killed every day during the «big offensive» in Donbas.
«We call it the ‘creeping offensive’ because they follow a crazy tactic: they send waves of «Wagner» or former prisoners against us to win back a few meters of ground. For example, in Bakhmut. Twenty of them attack our positions and we kill. After a while, twenty more come, and twenty more, in a continuous cycle,» Reznikov said.
