On the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Novoehorivka, Makiivka, Ploshanka, Nevske, Pishchane, Kreminna, Dibrova and Bilohorivka came under the influence of fire from the aggressors.
Donetsk Region
The enemy fired at Druzhkivka S-300 at night. A high-rise building was damaged. Information about the victims is being clarified.
Shelling of positions and active fighting continued throughout the night almost along the entire line of defense in the Ocheretyn and Avdiivka communities. In the morning, the Russians shelled Avdiivka with artillery. Information about the victims is being clarified.
The situation near Bakhmut, Soledar and Vuhledar is difficult. The enemy is constantly shelling these cities and communities.
During the day, Russian troops shelled Siversk and the village of Serebryanka of the Siversk community.
In one day, two civilians were wounded in the Donetsk region.
Kharkiv Region
At night, the enemy struck Kharkiv with S-300 missiles. According to preliminary information, 4 rockets hit the territory of the industrial facility. There was a fire. Hitting the ground in Central Park was also recorded. No casualties.
During the past 24 hours in the Kharkiv region in the Slobozhansk direction, the areas of Veterinarne, Strelecha, Krasne, Hlyboke, Lyptsi, Staritsa, Morokhovets, Zelene, Neskuchne, Hatyshche, Vovchansk, Budarky, Vilkhuvatka, Krasne Pershe, Novomlynsk and Kamianka areas were shelled.
In the Kupian direction, Dvorichna, Hryanikyvka, Kucherivka, Kupiansk, Kurylivka, Kislivka, Kotlyarivka, Tabaivka, Berestov, Krokhmalne, Vyshneve were under fire.
In Vovchansk, a 16-year-old girl was wounded in the evening as a result of artillery fire, and a 74-year-old woman died. The building of the city hospital was damaged, the roof of the central building was on fire. One of the fragments hit an ambulance carrying a patient, no one was injured.
Dnipropetrovsk Region
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, on the night of February 8, the Russian army again shelled the Nikopol district, hit the Chervonohryhorivka community with heavy artillery. There are no victims.
Zaporizhzhia Region
In the Zaporizhzhia region, aggressors shelled civilian infrastructure in the area of the settlements of Gulyaipole, Olhivske, Mala Tokmachka, Orikhiv, Novodanylivka, Malynivka, Novoandriivka, Novomykolayivka, Shcherbaki, Kamianske, Mali Shcherbaki, Stepove. There is destruction of housing and infrastructure facilities. Details are being clarified.
Kherson Region
According to the information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, enemy fire has affected Mykhailivka, Havrylivka, Mylove, Zmiivka, Novoberyslavka, Kozatske, Lvove, Tyahinka, Ivanivka, Mykilske, Antonivka, Yantarne, Berehove, Veletenske and Kherson. In a day, two people were injured due to Russian aggression.
Another 69 people, including 12 children, were evacuated by motor vehicles from the territories of the Kherson region liberated from the Russians.
The situation remains tense in the temporarily captured territories of the Kherson region. For example, in Cairo, Kakhovka District, Russian troops are forcibly seizing cars from the population. In Nova Kakhovka, the Russian military hit an energy infrastructure facility. Electricity and water have disappeared in the city.

Zelenskyi called to provide Ukraine with modern fighter jets and to create a «coalition of aircraft».
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi arrived in Great Britain on February 8, where he met with the Prime Minister of the country Rishi Sunak, and also spoke before the British Parliament.
TSN collected the main theses from Zelenskyi’s speech in Great Britain.
In particular, after the meeting with the British prime minister, the Ukrainian president announced that the parties discussed defense cooperation at the meeting. Zelenskyi told Sunak about the situation at the front and about the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in terms of weapons and military equipment. The head of state emphasized that it is important for Ukraine to receive the necessary weapons from its allies to stop the Russian offensive and liberate all occupied territories.
During a speech in the British Parliament, Zelenskyi called on allies to provide Ukraine with modern fighter jets and to create a «coalition of aircraft». At the same time, the President of Ukraine presented the Speaker of the Parliament of Great Britain, Lindsay Goyle, with the helmet of one of the best Ukrainian pilots.
«We pay with our lives... the lives of our heroes who risk life and death every day. We have freedom, give us wings to protect it,» Zelenskyi urged.
After these words, he himself handed the helmet to Goyle and added: «I believe that this symbol will help us in our next coalition, the coalition of airplanes... wings for freedom.»
At the end of the speech, the Ukrainian leader said that he thanks Britain in advance for «powerful English planes».
In his speech, Zelenskyi also emphasized that Ukraine’s victory over Russian aggression will change the world, because it will be a victory over the very idea of war.
«We know that freedom will win. We know that Russia will lose. And we really know that victory will change the world, and it will be a change that the world has long needed. The United Kingdom is coming with us to the most, I think, the most important victory in our lives. This will be a victory over the very idea of war,» said the President of Ukraine.
