Two Ukrainian servicemen stepped on an unknown explosive device, and because of its detonation, they received injuries that immediately caused death. This was evidenced 10 January by the press centre of the Joint Forces Operation, to which Ukrainska Pravda refers.
One of the dead in the explosion was a serviceman of the 25th Airborne Brigade, a 2020 graduate of the National Academy of Land Forces named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi in Lviv Illia Suprun.
«The day before yesterday, the war was relatively far away, and suddenly, everything changed. Her black wing also affected our family. Another Hero flew into the sky as an Angel. Unspeakable grief… We grieve… We share the pain of loss. May our sincere prayers reach God and may the merciful Lord rest his bright soul in the Kingdom of Heaven! Eternal Light memory…. Heroes do not die,» a relative of the deceased soldier Anna Kuch wrote on her Facebook.
