In the night of November 4, air alarm was turned on in the Lviv region from 05:09 to 05:30. It warned of an enemy kamikaze drone flying over the area, which was soon shot down by the air defense forces. This information was approved by the head of Lviv regional military administration, Maksym Kozytskyi.
"Air defense forces shot down an Iranian kamikaze drone "Shahed" over Lviv region. There were no damages or casualties in the region. We thank our defenders from "West" Air Command for their brilliant work," - Maksym Kozytskyi wrote.
We should add that on the morning of November 4, apart from the Lviv region, an air alert was also announced in the Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, and Rivne regions. In addition, during the night, air defense forces shot down 8 more drones in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
We will remind you that Ukrainian private energy company "DTEK" reported that Russian shelling of the energy system led to large-scale damage to "Ukrenergo" facilities. Some objects are completely destroyed and cannot be restored, so they must be rebuilt from scratch. As for November 1, the Russian military damaged about 40% of Ukraine's energy infrastructure with missile strikes, including damages to thermal power plants, combined heat and power plants, and hydroelectric power stations.
