Most applications for evacuation came from the Kyiv and Kharkiv regions. In general, the Lviv Regional Military Administration received inquiries from almost every oblast in the centre and east of the country. We are talking about small producers, where the number of employees is 10-20 people, and large productions per 1,000 or more employees.

«Over the past two days, we have formed such a register of requests. During this time we have received 78 requests for relocation. These were requests from the smallest manufacturing enterprises to the largest – plastic production, tea production, light industry, some spare parts for heavy transport. Accordingly, a number of locations have been proposed where they can be located. We took into account the requirements for area, the height of premises, electricity capacity, gas, the need for sewerage and more. A total of 276 such proposals were submitted by business entities,» – he said.

As for the premises offered to producers evacuated from the east and centre of Ukraine, some of them are state-owned and some are communal premises of communities, there are also private properties that have already operated in the Lviv region, but their production capacity was not fully involved.

According to Stepan Kuybida, an alternative mechanism is also offered for entrepreneurs who want to move to the west of Ukraine. In particular, four hubs (warehouses) have been set up in the Lviv region for this purpose, where producers can first transport their facilities and then decide on the location.

«We offer this option to entrepreneurs who are under fire today – take production facilities, come to us, fix them in these warehouses, which we under the control of the police, National Guard, territorial defence, and after that you can come and we together we will decide on possible deployment options either in the Lviv region or in other military administrations in western Ukraine,» – said the head of the Department of Economy.

In addition, employees of enterprises moving to the Lviv region can improve their skills, undergo training or retraining in vocational education institutions that are ready to provide such services today.

We will remind that earlier, the Lviv regional military administration reported that more than 200 enterprises are ready to move to the west of Ukraine from the regions where hostilities are conducted. He called on the owners of unoccupied production facilities and warehouses to apply for the accommodation of enterprises that want to move to the Lviv region. To do this, fill out the form.

It should be added that the government receives applications for evacuation from representatives of the food, woodworking, textile, fuel, chemical, medical and mechanical engineering industries. Entrepreneurs can submit it by following the link.

Maksym Kozytskyi, Head of the LRMA, called on entrepreneurs in the Lviv region to return to work and pay salaries to employees.
