Russia is spreading fake news about Ukraine’s de-occupation of its own territories, calling it «terrorist attacks» and comparing events in Nova Kakhovka to Beirut. This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) of the National Security and Defence Council.
«Against the background of the destruction of ammunition warehouses in Nova Kakhovka, the Russian propaganda spread the fake that the UN supposedly «condemned the actions of the Armed Forces» in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region,» – the report says.

As noted in the CCD, in fact, UN representative Farhan Haq said that the organization has no «comments on this specific issue», and that in general, the UN opposes «any military actions that lead to the destruction of civilian buildings.»
We would like to add that on July 11, explosions were reported in the temporarily occupied Nova Kakhovka in the Kherson region, as a result of which a warehouse with ammunition was destroyed. As noted by the head of Odesa Regional State Administration, Serhii Bratchuk, the Ukrainian military destroyed a warehouse with ammunition.
We will remind that the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksii Reznikov, publicly stated that President Volodymyr Zelenskyi ordered the liberation of the South of Ukraine, so residents of the temporarily occupied territories should take into account the high probability of de-occupation and take care of their own safety.
