UKRAINE: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed the law «On de-Sovietization of the legislation of Ukraine».

In particular, almost 1,200 acts of state and administrative bodies of the USSR and the Ukrainian SSR were «cleared».

Zelensky’s jacket for 383 hryvnias was easily sold at auction by Boris Johnson for a record amount

In London, at an auction to raise funds for Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky’s fleece jacket, which he wore during a meeting with Boris Johnson in Kyiv, was sold.

The outfit chosen for the meeting with the British politician cost the head of state about 120 dollars, which is about 3530 hryvnias.

Now the Telegraph reports that Zelensky’s fleece jacket went under the hammer for 90 thousand pounds (more than 111 thousand dollars). The starting price of the lot was 50 thousand pounds (almost 62 thousand dollars).

According to the newspaper, a good friend of Ukraine, Borys Johnson, spoke before the auction. He said the price of the clothes should be much higher than its starting price of 50,000 pounds and urged bidders not to skimp.

Donetsk Region

In the morning, air strikes on Malotaranovka, Druzhkivka, and Kostiantynivka. Many injuries, one person died. Bakhmut was attacked at around 5 am. The premises of one of the plants were damaged, according to preliminary information, two people died. Two private houses were destroyed and 11 others were damaged. One person was found dead under the rubble of one of the houses. The search continues.

Luhansk Region

There were 24 shellings the previous day. Most damage is in Hirske, Popasna communities and Severodonetsk. 36 houses were damaged. Details of the victims and the extent of the damage are currently being clarified. Arrival on «Azot» again – this time without critical consequences.

Mykolayiv Region

Yesterday afternoon the occupiers fired 5 missiles, as well as fired at the Tornado volley fire systems.

Some of the missiles hit two infrastructure facilities in the Kostiantynivka community of Mykolaiv district and near the airport, causing four fires. Data on the victims are being clarified.

Odesa Region

On May 7, Russian troops launched six missile strikes on Odesa. As a result of four missiles, a civilian enterprise in a residential area was damaged. A fire broke out at the enterprise. Two more missiles hit the airport runway and damaged the radar.

Kherson Region

The situation in the region remains difficult, with explosions and shelling in the region. The occupiers continue fighting and looting in the Kherson region. Stable critical situation in the occupied villages.

Bohodukhiv, Kharkiv region

Kharkiv Region

In Kharkiv, there were several shellings on the outskirts of the city at night, no one was injured. At night, shells «arrived» in the village of Skovorodynivka, and the occupiers destroyed the Hryhoriy Skovoroda Museum. One person was injured.

The occupiers also fired on Bohodukhiv, no one was injured. Fighting continues in the Izyum direction.
