UKRAINE: Russian troops are conducting an offensive in the Donbass and continue shelling Kharkiv. Explosions in Mykolayiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

WORLD: Israel has opened a humanitarian air bridge to help Ukraine. In the near future, six planes will deliver medicine, medical equipment, and food to Ukraine. The first 10 tons of drugs have already been delivered.

On April 9, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson arrived in Kyiv, where he announced assistance to Ukraine and new sanctions against Russia.
During a walk through Kyiv, a passerby approached the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Borys Johnson and presented them with ceramic roosters. The same rooster was standing in the kitchen cupboard, which survived in a high-rise building destroyed by Russian troops in the village of Borodyanka, Kyiv region. The photo of this locker with a rooster became popular on the Internet and became a symbol of stability of the Ukrainian people.

The Ukrainian military liberated the settlements of Kyiv region from the Russian occupiers, but what they saw shocked the whole world – Putin’s soldiers mocked people and animals, tortured them, killed and raped them, robbed and burned the homes of civilians.
Donetsk region
There are active hostilities along the line of contact. The enemy tried to advance near Marinka, but the Ukrainian military repulsed the offensive.
At the same time, Putin’s troops fired on the settlements of Vugledar, Krasnohorivka, Avdiivka, Toretsk and Ocheretyn territorial communities. Due to this, the settlements were partially de-energized.
Mariupol holds on despite the blockade of Russian invaders and much superior enemy forces. The evacuation of civilians from the Donetsk region, including by rail, continues.
Luhansk region
The enemy carried out artillery and rocket attacks on residential neighborhoods and evacuation sites of civilians from areas of active hostilities.
Putin’s troops continue their offensive in the direction of the cities of Popasna and Severodonetsk. The enemy did not succeed. In the morning, the Russian invaders carried out a powerful shelling of Severodonetsk. Two pensioners were rescued from the rubble. At the same time, one person was killed and four others were injured.

It was also uneasy: residents of almost all settlements reported shelling and explosions. This is especially true of areas on the borders of regions. In addition, Russian invaders continue to loot in the temporarily occupied territories of the region. In the villages, they throw grenades at houses, take away vehicles and food. In general, there is a humanitarian catastrophe in the region.
Dnipropetrovsk region
The alarm sounded almost every hour, including in the morning. At night, the enemy targeted farms, industrial and infrastructural facilities. There is currently information about one victim.
Mykolaiv region
In the evening and at night the troops of the Russian Federation carried out shelling of settlements. Infrastructure facilities have been damaged as a result. According to preliminary information, there are no victims.

The enemy again fired at Kharkiv’s residential areas at night with artillery and multiple rocket launchers. In the Kharkiv region, Russian troops are «working» in the Izyum direction, but the Ukrainian army is holding its ground.
