From 22 November, unvaccinated people or those without proof of a negative test will not be able to use public transport between towns and villages within the Lviv region, outside of Lviv city. This was reported in the Lviv Regional State Administration. Additionally, the number of passengers in cars will be restricted to five people, unless they have the propper Covid documents.

To travel, residents must have the following documents:
- a negative result of the test for Covid-19 (by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) or rapid test for coronavirus antigen SARS-CoV-2), made no later than 72 hours before the day of travel;
- a document confirming receipt of a full course of vaccination with a vaccine approved by the World Health Organization;
- international, domestic or foreign certificate confirming vaccination with the first dose of vaccine (yellow certificate) or the second dose (green certificate);
- a certificate confirming that the person has recovered from the disease. Ukrainian citizens can generate digital documents in the mobile application «DIIA».
The corresponding decision was made yesterday, on November 11, at a meeting of the Regional Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergencies.
LODA adds that the restriction will not apply to transportation by cars, in which the number of passengers should not exceed 5 people (including the driver), excluding children under 14 years of age.
The carrier must inform passengers about the introduction of new quarantine restrictions, and when transported by rail – to check the availability of certain documents for passengers.
