Donetsk Region

Kharkiv Region
This morning, the enemy launched a rocket attack on the city of Kharkiv. Hits were recorded at an object of industrial infrastructure in the Kyiv district of the city. Last day, the Russian occupiers shelled the cities of Kupyansk and Vovchansk, as well as the settlements of Kupiansk, Chuhuiv, Kharkiv and Bohodukhiv districts.
During the day, one person was hospitalized with an injury in the Bohodukhiv district. Two people were hospitalized in the Kupiansk district.
Demining of the liberated territories continued, during the day, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service defused 657 explosive objects.
Sumy Region
This morning – mortar shelling of the Znob-Novhorod community. Without consequence, the information is clarified.
Yesterday, there was shelling from Russia on the border. It passed without victims and destruction.
Zaporizhzhia Region
In the morning, the enemy attacked the regional center with rockets. Information about the consequences and victims is currently being clarified.
Dnipropetrovsk Region
Russian occupying troops struck the Kryvyi Rih district. They targeted an industrial enterprise and an energy facility. Strong destruction. All services are working at the scene of the hits. Previously, people were not injured.
Mykolayiv Region
According to the information of the «Pivden» air command, at night after the attack on Mykolayiv regionby Shahed-136 attack UAVs, nine drones were shot down by the forces and means of air defense of the «Southern» air command, two drones each were destroyed by the soldiers of the Naval Forces and the National Guard of Ukraine, one more – National Police of Ukraine.
At night, the enemy again attacked Mykolayiv with Shahed-136 kamikaze drones. Four drones targeted one of the city’s educational institutions. Another drone fell on closed private territory. Also, as a result of this, two fires broke out in open areas, which were quickly extinguished. Without victims and victims. Damage information is being updated. At night, the enemy made mortar attacks in the direction of the Ochakiv port, its water area and along the recommended sea routes.
Shelling of the territory and nearby settlements of the Berezneguvate community continues. Information on victims and damage is being clarified. Yesterday afternoon and evening, the Shirokivska community was shelled, as a result of which one house was destroyed and another was damaged. There are no casualties.
Kherson Region
Active hostilities continue. According to the information of Operational Commander «Pivden», the enemy is concentrating its efforts on conducting defensive operations in occupied positions, launching rocket and artillery strikes at our units and settlements adjacent to the demarcation line.
With helicopters and Su-25 attack aircraft, the enemy carried out 4 airstrikes near Nova Kamyanka and Trifonivka in the north of the Kherson region. There are no losses. The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 2 ammunition depots in the Beryslav district.
The restoration of electricity supply in the de-occupied settlements of Kherson region continues.

Volodymyr Tymoshko, the head of the Main Department of the National Police in the Kharkiv region, said that law enforcement officers had established 22 places of torture in the de-occupied territories of the region.
He said this at a briefing on October 20.
«22 places of torture have been established. We are establishing based on the testimony of witnesses or victims of people who went through them,» Tymoshko said.
In particular, torture chambers were found in Vovchansk (2), Kupyansk (4), Shevchenkove (2), Izyum (4), Kozacha Lopan (3), Lyptsi, Velykyi Burluk, Pisky-Radkovski, and Borovii.
According to Tymoshko, it is currently impossible to name the total number of people who suffered from torture by the occupiers, since some people are currently in the Russian Federation.
In addition, the police have information that the occupiers also took people to the territory of the Russian Federation, tortured them there, and then returned them to Ukraine.
«They have a place in Shebekino (Belgorod region – ed.), where our military and police prisoners are kept. They also tortured people there... A few days ago, we removed the bodies of two tortured servicemen. We know for sure that they were being taken through Hoptivka to the side of Belgorod, and the bodies were returned. That means, most likely, torture took place on the territory of the Russian Federation. There are testimonies of people who say that the bodies were also taken to the Russian Federation,» he said.
He reported that the occupiers tortured policemen who remained in the occupied territories.
«We have workers who are victims, who were tortured, kept in pits, etc.,» said the head of management.
He also noted that the State Bureau of Investigation has now announced the suspicion of 22 policemen who sided with the occupiers (both employees of the National Police Department and other police units that are not part of it).
«Those whom we still suspect of possible cooperation with the enemy are only 65 people, including these 22,» Tymoshko said.
