Donetsk Region
The situation in the region is acute, but controlled by the Armed Forces. Complications in the Lyman direction – the fighting is already taking place in the Lyman. Avdiivka military administration: all night the city and the front line around the city under fire, many arrivals, fires. Also last night, Ukrainian Army left Svitlodarsk, but the Head of Donetsk Regional State Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, commented that it was made for regrouping the forces.
Despite extremely heavy shelling and attacks, Vuhledar, Mariinka and Krasnohorivka are holding on. During the day in the region – 12 dead and 10 wounded civilians.
Luhansk Region
Fierce battles for Severodonetsk, constant mortar shelling. Two houses in Severodonetsk were destroyed. Four each in Novodruzhesk, Vrubivka and Komyshuvas, three each in Zolote and Toshkivka, two each in Katerynivka and Nyrkovo, and one in Hirske.
In the morning, with the support of artillery, the Russian occupiers are advancing on Severodonetsk. For days in the area 6 dead and 8 wounded civilians.
Mykolayiv Region
In the evening and at night, the Shyrokiv community suffered again from the shelling. There were no injuries or casualties, the shelling was outside the settlements. At night the enemy again fired at Mykolayiv from MLRS «Tornado». Information on damaged objects and victims is being clarified.
Dnipropetrovsk Region
There were three missile strikes on Kryvyi Rih – they hit an industrial enterprise. There is now severe destruction. The victims are being clarified.
Zaporizhzhia Region
This morning, Russian troops launched four cruise missiles in Zaporizhzhia – one of which was shot down by Ukrainian air defense. Specialists are currently examining the affected area. Detailed information is being clarified.
Sumy Region
Artillery shelling from the territory of Russia and a missile strike from an airplane that did not cross the state border – the launch was from the territory of Russia. As a result, about 20 houses of Krasnopillia civilians and power lines were damaged. Half of the village is left without electricity. According to preliminary data, no one was injured.
Kharkiv Region
In Kharkiv, the night passed with isolated shelling, no one was injured. During the day, four people were injured in the shelling: Derhachi – 1 person, Savyntsi and Shevchenkove – 3 people. One resident died in Derhachi.
UKRAINE: The Security Service of Ukraine summoned Arsenii Yatsenyuk, Oleksandr Turchynov and Arsen Avakov. They were summoned for questioning as witnesses in the «coal case» involving MP Viktor Medvedchuk and fifth president Petro Poroshenko.

WORLD: A state of emergency is declared in Hungary from 00:00 on Wednesday, May 25. The country’s Prime Minister Viktor Orban explained this decision by the threat of war between Ukraine and Russia.
In Russia, Shoigu’s defense minister said that Russia was allegedly slowing down the pace of the «special operation.» They are doing this in order to «avoid civilian casualties and allow people to evacuate.»
In Russia, Foreign Minister Lavrov accused the West of «doing poorly in school and not knowing what Russia is» when he spoke of defeat in the war against Ukraine.

The commander of the Azov Battalion, Denуs Prokopenko, got in touch with his wife, who told them about the conditions in which they were being held by the Russian occupiers with the military.
Soldiers of the Azov Regiment, who bravely defended Ukrainian Mariupol on Azovstal from the occupiers for almost three months, are being held in allegedly «satisfactory» conditions.
This was reported by The Guardian by the wife of the regiment commander Denуs Prokopenko, whom he was able to call for a short time.
«He said he was fine and asked how I was. I heard from other sources that the conditions were more or less satisfactory,» she said.
«Conditions meet the requirements, and in this short period they have not suffered violence. What will happen next, we certainly do not know, but at the moment there are third parties – the UN and the Red Cross, which are monitoring the situation,» said Kateryna Prokopenko.
She added that, as far as she knew, none of the fighters were taken to Russia.
On May 20 the president Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that almost all people were evacuated from Azovstal. According to the British Ministry of Defense, at least 1,700 defenders of Mariupol were evacuated from Azovstal, the Ukrainian authorities do not name the number of military
