Luhansk Region
Units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the area of Bilohorivka. In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy carried out mortar and artillery attacks on Novoselyvske, Stelmakhivka and Myasozharivka.
Chervonopivka, Makiivka, Nevske and Dibrova were affected by the fire in the Lyman direction. The situation in the region remains difficult.
Donetsk Region
During the night, our positions were shelled chaotically. The occupiers struck several settlements: in the village of Ocheretyne, in Lyman, in Avdiivka.
At night, there was also artillery shelling of the territory of the Karliv Reservoir on the territory of Ocheretyn community. Information on civilian casualties is being clarified.
The general situation on the front line remains unchanged: active fighting near Bakhmut, Soledar, Toretsk, Mariinka, and Vuhledar. In the region, four people died and seven were injured in a day.
Sumy Region
At night and in the morning, the enemy shelled the territories of Esman, Shalyhyne, and Seredyno-Budsk communities.
In the morning, mortar shelling was carried out on the outskirts of Bachivsk village of Esman territorial community. The Russians also fired from mortars on the outskirts of the village of Vovkivka of the Shalygin community
Information about victims, destruction of infrastructure facilities is being clarified.
During the day yesterday, the Russians shelled the communities of Bilopillia, Esman and Seredyno-Budsk. 52 arrivals were recorded. According to preliminary data, there were no victims or injured.
Kharkiv Region
In the Slobozhanska direction, the enemy shelled more than 30 settlements, among them: Huriiv Kozachok, Krasne, Staritsa, Okhrimivka, Varvarivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, and Kupiansk.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy shelled the settlements: Ivanivka, Kislivka, Krokhmalne and Berestove.
In the village Kindrasivka of the Kupiansk district damaged the building of the lyceum. In the village In the deep Kharkiv district, private homes were damaged, 2 commercial buildings were on fire.
In the village Petropavlivka, Chuhuiv district, was wounded by a civilian man who was hospitalized in a moderate condition.
Dnipropetrovsk Region
The Nikopol district experienced another restless night – the last threat of artillery shelling lasted almost 12 hours in the district, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional council, Mykola Lukashuk, said.
The occupiers attacked the Myrove community several times in a row from multiple rocket launchers – they fired about fifty shells at it.
As a result of shelling, a shop, a bakery, and a beauty salon were damaged. About ten residential buildings and commercial buildings, gas furnaces, and power lines were also affected. People are unharmed. The survey of the territories that came under shelling is ongoing.
Zaporizhzhia Region
Over the past day, the occupiers shelled civilian infrastructure in the area of the settlements of Zaporizhzhia, Malynivka, Hulyaipole, Charivne, Chervone, Bilohirya, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Olhivske, Shcherbaky, Poltavka, Zaliznychne, Orikhiv, Kamianske, Stepove, Lukianivske, Yurkivka.
There is destruction of houses (apartments) of citizens and infrastructure facilities as a result of shelling. Details regarding the consequences are being clarified.
Kherson Region
According to the information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, areas of the settlements of Zolota Balka, Havrylivka, Dudchany, Chervyn Mayak, Monastyrske, Tomaryne, Burhunka, Tyahinka, Stanislav and Kherson were subjected to shelling from MLRS, barrel artillery and mortars.
The Russian army once again shelled the residential quarters of Kherson and the Kherson district. A car containing a man and a woman was mutilated by shrapnel from a Russian projectile in the Suvorov district. The man was taken away by an ambulance, and the woman died on the spot.
Rashists and Komyshans were fired upon, where three people were wounded, a 25-year-old girl died from her wounds.
In the Kherson region, a total of seven people were injured as a result of Russian aggression, two died.
In the temporarily occupied resort village of Zaliznyi Port of the Skadovsk district, the Russian so-called «administration» is carrying out a census and confiscation of businesses (boarding houses, cafes, restaurants) that have not been re-registered under Russian law from Ukrainian citizens.

In the energy system of Ukraine on Saturday, January 28, the deficit remains significant. The most difficult situation is in Odesa region. There, due to significant damage, the restoration of the planned power scheme takes more time than before.
This was reported in the press service of «Ukrenergo».
It is noted that although electricity consumption has decreased, which is typical for weekends. However, the amount of reduction is small.
Consumption limits have been established for all operators of the electricity distribution system, which apply throughout the day. Each of them in its region makes schedules of planned hourly outages, which should ensure consumption of the region at the level of the proven limit.
«As a result of Russian missile and drone attacks, power plants and the high-voltage network were damaged. The Russian attack on January 26 caused significant damage to several objects of the high-voltage network. However, the power system is still being restored after the previous series of enemy missile attacks, which caused damage to the power units of the power plants,» the statement said. messages
The company emphasizes that the restoration of energy infrastructure facilities damaged during the massive attack on January 26 is ongoing. In total, Ukraine’s energy system has already survived 13 enemy missile attacks and 15 UAV strikes on energy facilities. In addition, more than 10 GW of the main installed capacities are currently inaccessible to the Ukrainian energy system and are under the control of the enemy.
