Donetsk Region
Active hostilities continue along the entire perimeter of the defense. The estuary was hit by missiles and artillery shelling. In the city there are numerous houses, at least one person died.
In the morning there was enemy shelling in the cities of Krasnohorivka and Marinka. An airstrike was inflicted on the village of Novomykhailivka. The Armed Forces remain in their positions.
In the evening of May 27, Avdiivka was fired upon from tanks. At night and in the morning the city was under artillery fire, in the morning – was hit by air.
Constant artillery shelling continues in Svitlodar, Ocheretyn, and Bakhmut communities. There is almost no connection in the Svitlodar community.
There is no gas supply in the region. On May 27, the occupiers cut off the Second Donetsk water supply system – without water 11 settlements.
Luhansk Region
In the Luhansk region, after fierce fighting, the Russians suffered heavy losses and were forced to retreat in the area of Severodonetsk, Toshkivka and Oskolonivka. But they did not stop trying to go to the rear of our troops and cut off the Luhansk region.
In Severodonetsk, 14 high-rise buildings were damaged. The nearby village of Synetsky was also severely shelled. In addition, destruction was recorded in other cities of the Luhansk region: in Hirske, Zolote and Lysychansk, as well as in Vrubivka and Orikhovo. No civilians were killed.
Dnipropetrovsk Region
The night and the morning were anxious. At night, the occupiers fired again at the Zelenodolsk community. There is destruction, but there are no victims among the residents.
Mykolayiv Region
On May 27, the Shyrokiv community was shelled again. Dwelling houses were damaged, no one was injured. In addition, Lubomyrivka, Zelenyi Hai and the Shevchenkivska community were heavily shelled yesterday.
There were shellings day and night in the Bereznehuvatsky community. Damaged houses. According to preliminary information, no one was injured.
Sumy Region
From midnight to 4.00 Russian troops shelled the territory of the Sumy region. As a result of an enemy missile hitting an agricultural enterprise on the outskirts of Putivl, no one was killed.
From their territory, the Russians fired mortar fire on the territory of the Znob-Novgorod community (no casualties), and there was also artillery shelling of the Esman community (no casualties).
Kherson Region
In the Kherson region, shelling and explosions occurred throughout the territory. Residents of the Velykooleksandrivska and Kalynivska communities reported numerous aircraft and machine gun fire in the occupied villages. The situation is very tense in the settlements of Vysokopilska, Novovorontsovska and neighboring communities.
Kharkiv Region
In the Kharkiv region at about 1.00 there were several shell hits in Mala Danylivka, Kyiv district of Kharkiv. Fires broke out in two private sector buildings. According to preliminary data, no one was injured.
The occupiers also fired on the Kharkiv district, the town of Slatine (one person was injured), and the city of Balakliia, and one person was also injured. There are victims in the Kharkiv district.

Johnson creates new «European Union»
The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson has been working for more than a month on the idea of creating a new international alliance that will oppose Russia and become an alternative to the European Union. The politician suggested to President Volodymyr Zelensky that Ukraine also join this alliance.
The European Community model that Johnson seeks to create would define the United Kingdom as a leader and, in addition to Ukraine, would include Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and possibly Turkey.
This was reported by the Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sera, citing sources.
«The London prime minister is proposing a new system of political, economic and military alliance – an alternative to the European Union – that will bring together countries united in distrust of Brussels and Germany’s response to Russia’s military aggression,» the article said.
They added that the British Prime Minister was proposing a union of states that were zealous for their national sovereignty, economically liberal and determined to counter the military threat from Russia.
Johnson has been working on the initiative for more than a month, according to sources who visited the World Economic Forum in Davos the day before.
The British Prime Minister presented his idea to the President of Ukraine for the first time during a meeting in Kyiv on April 9. According to the publication, after Johnson’s visit, the relevant talks continued, and Britain increasingly urged Ukraine to take the initiative.
According to the report, the Ukrainian authorities have not yet taken any position on the initiative, but have not rejected it. Zelensky is likely to be awaiting the EU summit on June 23, when member leaders will be asked to decide whether to grant Ukraine candidate status.
The authors of the article note that it is not a fact that the EU decision will be what Ukraine hopes for. According to some negotiators, EU leaders are likely to confine themselves to a vague statement that Ukraine has a «European perspective». In this case, Zelensky may take Johnson’s alternative proposal more seriously.
