The Russians continue to conduct offensive actions in the Lyman and Bakhmut directions, suffering heavy losses.
Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the districts of Novoselivske and Bilohorivka.
On the Kupyansk direction, Novoselyvske and Andriivka were damaged by enemy fire.
On the Lyman direction, the Russians shelled Novoyehorivka, Makiivka, Nevske, Chervonopopivka, Kreminna and Dibrova. The situation in the region remains difficult.
At night, the outskirts of Avdiivka were shelled. Along the defense line around the city, during the night chaotic individual shelling of positions continued. This morning there was artillery shelling of the central part of Avdiivka.
The situation in the vicinity of Soledar, Bakhmut, Vuhledar, Avdiivka, Ocheretyn and Mariinka communities remains difficult. The day before, there was a rocket attack on Ivanopil of the Kostyantynivska community. Private houses were damaged. Shelling of the village of Nove of the Chasiv Yar community. Private houses were damaged. Yesterday evening – shelling of Toretsk. Ground premises of the mine were damaged. No casualties.
During the day, there were two shellings in the central part of Kurakhovo. High-rise buildings and private houses were damaged, one person was injured. In one day, three civilians were injured in the Donetsk region.
During the day yesterday, the enemy shelled the communities of Bilopillia and Esman. 18 arrivals were recorded. The Russians also dropped explosive devices on the territory of the Velyka Pysarivka community. In advance – in all cases without victims and destruction.
In the Slobozhansk direction, the occupiers shelled the areas of settlements: Veterynarne, Hlyboke, Strelecha, Borysivka, Neskuchne, Staritsa, Ohirtseve, Verkhnya Pysarivka, Vovchansk, Budarky, Novomlynsk, and Dvorichna.
In the Kupyansk direction, the following were affected by enemy fire: Sinkivka, Kupiansk, Ivanovka, Kislivka and Kotlyarivka.
A 62-year-old civilian man died in Vovchansk due to shelling. An 83-year-old woman was injured. Moderate condition.
Also in Vovchansk, shelling damaged the building of the Police Department, multi-apartment residential buildings, and enterprise hangars.
Nikopol again suffered from enemy shelling, at night the Russians struck Myrove community with heavy artillery. No victims.
In the village of Vyshchetarasivka, three private houses, two farm buildings and a power line were damaged.
Over the past day, the occupiers shelled civilian infrastructure in the area of Charivne, Novodanylivka, Malynivka, Gulyaipole, Orikhiv, Novoandriivka, Olhivske, Bilohirya, Mala Tokmachka, Shcherbaki, Verkhnya Tersa, Kamianske, Stepove, Mali Shcherbaki.
There is destruction of houses (apartments) of citizens and infrastructure facilities as a result of shelling. Detailed information on the consequences is being clarified.
According to the information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the areas of Beryslav, Odradokamyanka, Tokarivka, Lvove, Ivanivka, Antonivka, Kherson, Pervomaiske, Berehove and Veletenske were hit by shelling from MLRS, barrel artillery and mortars. During the day, there were no injured or dead.
Shelling in populated areas of the Hola Prystan community does not stop. Thus, explosions damaged a civilian object in the city of Hola Prystan. No casualties. Occupants continue to loot houses whose owners have left.
According to available information, the Russian occupiers forbid schoolchildren to study online using the Ukrainian program in local schools in the settlements of the Kakhovka district. Local teachers refuse to teach children according to the Russian curriculum. 84 people were evacuated from the liberated Kherson region, 18 of them children.
