If Ukraine gained access to all the weapons it needs, which its partners have and are comparable to the weapons used by the Russian occupiers, Ukrainian defenders would have already ended the war. The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi announced this in a video address.
The President called on the partners to provide Ukraine with weapons now to help save the lives of thousands of civilians.
Volodymyr Zelenskyi also noted that the superiority of the Ukrainian military in tactics and wisdom is obvious.
«In all negotiations with the leaders of the democratic world, I emphasize – it is not fair that Ukraine is still forced to ask for what is stored in the warehouses of partners,» – the president said.
According to the head of state, if Ukraine’s partners have the weapons and ammunition that our country needs now, their moral duty is to help protect freedom and save the lives of thousands of Ukrainians.
«If in the first week of the war, we got what we get now, the benefits for Ukraine and freedom in Europe would be greater. And if we now get what some partners plan to hand over to Ukraine «in the coming weeks,» it will save the lives of thousands and thousands of people,» – he added.
It will be recalled that President Zelenskyi recently announced a list of heavy weapons that Ukraine needs to stop Russia. Heavy artillery, armored vehicles, air defense systems and aircraft are needed.
