Ukraine has severed diplomatic relations with Russia. This was announced during a briefing by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
«We have severed diplomatic relations with Russia, « the president said.
The President did not specify the details of the decision, but said it had already been made.
«Ukraine is defending itself and will not give up its freedom so that people in Moscow do not think there,» – Volodymyr Zelenskyi said.
According to him, we need different mobilization – information and fighting spirit. It is important to explain to people where manipulation is and where lies are.
«The enemy has already suffered serious losses and will suffer even more because they came to our land. Ukraine is attacked from the North, East and South, from the air, protection is working. National solidarity is the mainstay of statehood. We are already giving away weapons to all who are willing and able to defend our sovereignty. Everyone who has combat experience is asked to join the ranks of territorial defense, «said the president.
It will be recalled that Russian President Vladimir Putin issued an emergency appeal to the Russians at 4 am announcing the beginning of a «special military operation.» He says he made his decision after he was approached by the leaders of the self-proclaimed «republics» in Donbas. Because of this, martial law is imposed throughout Ukraine. The sky over Ukraine was closed. In particular, due to the closure of Ukraine’s airspace, all flights to/from Lviv airport were cancelled.
