Luhansk Region
The Russians are concentrating their main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Kupiansk and Lyman directions.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy fired at the Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka districts.
On the Lyman direction, Makiivka, Ploshanka, Nevske, Chervonopopivka, Kreminna, Kuzmyne, and Dibrova came under the fire of the Russians. The situation in the region remains difficult.
Donetsk Region
In the Donetsk region, during the day, the intensity of shelling of the positions and outskirts of the Toretsk community with heavy weapons and small arms decreased.
Yesterday, as a result of enemy artillery fire, a house was damaged and the roof of a house in Toretsk caught fire. The situation is tense, but controlled in the area of Ozoryanivka, Kurdyumivka, Shuma and New York, constant assaults by the enemy are taking place.
At night, there were isolated shellings of positions along the line of hostilities in the Ocheretyn community. In the morning, the intensity of shelling increased.
In the morning, a massive shelling of Avdiivka took place, the shells hit the central part of the city. Information about the destruction and victims is being clarified. Chaotic shelling of positions continues along the defense line around Avdiivka.
The intensity of the battles near Bakhmut, Soledar, and Vuhledar does not decrease.
The shelling of Kurakhove and Kurakhove communities became more frequent. In particular, during the past day, five shellings were recorded: the outskirts of Kurakhove and the right bank of the Kurakhove Reservoir, missile strikes on the city of Hirnyk and the village of Kurakhivka. There are no injuries or dead.
As a result of shelling, a private residential building was damaged in the city of Kurakhove, eight private residential buildings in the city of Hirnyk, and a shop in the village of Kurakhivka.
During the day, the Russians shelled Siversk (several private houses were destroyed) and populated areas of the community.
Also, the shelling of Torske and Zarichne villages of the Lyman community did not stop.
In one day, one person was killed and another was injured in Donetsk region.
Sumy Region
In the Sumy region yesterday, during the day, Russian troops shelled three territorial communities: Esman, Seredyno-Budsk, and Druzhba. 17 hits were recorded. There are no losses and destruction.
Kharkiv Region
On February 5, the troops of the Russian Federation attacked the center of Kharkiv with S-300 missiles. A hit to Kharkiv National University of Urban Economy, as well as residential buildings. Five people were injured.
During the past day, in the Slobozhansk direction, the areas of settlements: Strelecha, Neskuchne, Ternova, Staritsa, Ohirtseve, Budarki and Rublene were subjected to enemy shelling.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy fired at the areas of Pishchane, Ivanivka, Kucherivka, Kislivka and Kotlyarivka settlements.
During the day, as a result of enemy artillery, mortar and rocket attacks, eight apartment buildings, an infrastructure facility, an office building and three cars were damaged.
Dnipropetrovsk Region
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, the enemy continued to terrorize local residents. On the morning of February 5, the aggressor struck the Synelnykove district – targeting the Velyka Mykhailivka community. the Russians fired from heavy artillery, the shells hit the power line. No victims.
The Russians also shelled the Marhanets community of the Nikopol district with barrel artillery at night. More than 20 enemy shells were fired in the direction of the civilian population. No victims.
Zaporizhzhia Region
In the Zaporizhzhia region, invaders shelled civilian infrastructure in the area of the settlements of Gulyaipole, Shcherbaki, Zatyshsha, Malynivka, Temyrivka, Preobrazhenka, Primorske, Orikhiv, Novodanylivka, Olhivske, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Novoandriivka, Chervone, Bilohirya, Zelenyi Hai, Novoselivka., Kamianske, Mali Shcherbaki, Stepove, Pavlivka.
10 reports were received about the destruction of houses (apartments) of citizens and infrastructure facilities as a result of enemy shelling. Detailed information is being clarified.
Kherson Region
According to information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Kherson, as well as Zolota Balka, Havrylivka, Kachkarivka, Mylove, Beryslav, Vesele, Ivanivka, Mykilske, Chornobayivka, Antonivka, Dniprovske, and Honcharne, came under enemy fire.
Russian invaders are conducting raids in the settlement of Krynka, Kherson region, with the aim of stealing boats, water engines and other equipment for moving by water from the civilian population.
Six residential buildings were damaged in Chornobayivka due to yesterday’s enemy shelling, electricity lines, gas pipelines and water pipelines were also destroyed. One person was injured.
In addition, the Russians opened fire on the Lyceum building in Kherson. An enemy attack caused a fire in the two-story building of the educational institution. No victims.
Four people were injured in the Kherson region during the day.
Another 40 people were evacuated from the territories of the Kherson region liberated from the Russians, four of them children.

The Russian invaders have been making little progress in recent weeks in their attempt to encircle Bakhmut.
This was reported by the British Intelligence on February 5.
Intelligence emphasizes that the two main roads – M03 and H32 for our military are now probably under threat of direct fire.
«This week, the paramilitary formations of «Wagner» most likely seized the subordinate route connecting Bakhmut with the city of Siversk,» - the report says.
The Inteligence also notes that Bakhmut is becoming increasingly isolated for Ukrainian forces.
