With 96 Russian missiles and over a dozen drones launched, yesterday's strike at Ukrainian energy infrastructure became the most massive ever.

Yesterday, November 15, at 2:45 p.m., an air alert was announced in Lviv. Alarm sounded throughout the country. Explosions occured in Lviv, Kyiv and other cities. In total, the enemy launched 96 cruise missiles, 75 of which were shot down by the Air Defense Forces of Ukraine. In addition, the Russians launched 10 more Shahed-136/131 kamikaze attack drones. All of them were shot down in the south of Ukraine.
 
As a result of the missile attack, 15 objects of the energy infrastructure of Ukraine were damaged. After that, more than 7 million citizens found themselves without electricity, the deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko reported.
 
During the massive attack, 13 rockets flew into the Lviv region, most of them were shot down by the military of the "Zakhid" (West) Air Command. The head of Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, said that the Russians targeted a critical energy infrastructure facility.
 
"The enemy hit a critical energy infrastructure facility in the Lviv region. In Lviv, there are problems with electricity supply, interruptions in the work of mobile operators," - the message on November 15 said.
 
 
The Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region adds that as a result of missile strikes in the region, three energy infrastructure facilities were critically damaged. 29 units of special equipment and more than 160 personnel were involved in extinguishing the fires, which promptly extinguished the fires. It is known about one victim in the Lviv region. His condition is difficult.
 
 
 
 
 
As a result of the missile attacks, Lviv was left without electricity supply by 80%, the mayor of Lviv Andrii Sadovyi informed. In 50% of the city, water was available on the first floors - it was supplied centrally using diesel generators at pumping stations. 
 
In addition to Lviv, electricity was absent in parts of Yavorivskyi, Zolochivskyi and Chervonohradskyi districts.
 

November 16

As of 08:00 on November 16, electricity supply was restored in almost the entire city of Lviv. There are isolated reports of areas still without electricity, but they special services are working to solve it. Water supply and heating were restored too, the mayor of Lviv announced.
 
57 trams and 59 trolleybuses are operating on the routes. An additional 15 buses were released to ensure the normal operation of public transport. 30% of traffic lights in the city are already working. Still, residents are asked not to forget the rules of the road and to observe a safe speed.
 
We will also add that today, November 16, at 09:48 an air alert was announced in the Lviv region and throughout Ukraine, which lasted for half an hour. It was reported that the danger was detected due to the takeoff of Russian fighter jets from the territory of Belarus. But today, the alarm in the Lviv region passed peacefully, there were no reports of explosions.
