UKRAINE: President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the Security Service of Ukraine had detained Viktor Medvedchuk, an opposition politician and godfather of Russian President Vladimir Putin, who had disappeared from house arrest shortly after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

WORLD: The presidents of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia paid a visit to Kyiv. On the agenda is the provision of military and political assistance to Ukraine.

The Latvian Foreign Ministry has stated that the only country in the world that needs real denazification is Russia

President Joe Biden has made it clear that he accuses Russian President Vladimir Putin of genocide in Ukraine:

«Your family budget, your ability to refuel your gas tank – none of this should depend on the dictator declaring war and committing genocide in thirty-nine lands,» – Biden said.

It was reported from Russia that the massacres committed by the Russian military in Bucha were allegedly a «staging».

«For some reason, the mass murders in Borodyanka, Gostomel, Makarov, cities and villages of Chernihiv, Kharkiv regions, and Donbas have not been commented on yet. There are not as many» staging artists «in the world as there are murderers in the Russian army,» – Zelensky said.

Russia’s humiliation at the global level

Donetsk region

Luhansk region

The enemy struck at Lysychansk, Rubizhne, Severodonetsk, Kreminna, Novodruzhesk. Ten more homes were damaged in the shelling. One person died. 21 were rescued by State Emergency Service fighters.

Kherson region

The occupiers do not stop trying to gain a foothold and are fighting from the occupied territories in the direction of neighboring areas. In the villages occupied by Russian soldiers, the situation remained unchanged.

The region is on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe. Currently, more than 100 settlements of Kherson region are without electricity and water.

Zhytomyr Region 

Late in the evening, the enemy fired a missile at an infrastructure facility in the city of Chudniv. No one was killed or injured. Details are being clarified.

Poltava region

In the evening – missile strikes on the infrastructure in Myrhorod. Information on victims and consequences is being clarified.

Kharkiv region

In Kharkiv – night shelling of the occupiers continued, during the day there was a large-scale fire in one of the administrative buildings, which was extinguished until the evening. In the region, the occupiers fired at Barvinkove, the Izyum direction. During the day, 17 civilians were wounded and 4 people died in the region.
