“Tvoe Misto” is a multimedia hub that includes a city portal, a city discussion platform, online television, the NGO “Tvoe Misto Lviv” for developing quality journalism, and a production studio.

Lviv news, analytical materials, author columns, special projects, live event streams, advertising content, and more. Only what is most important and relevant for Lviv residents and city guests. We are tired of negativity, yellow journalism, inflated sensationalism, petty quarrels, and mud. We believe that Lviv has many interesting people, places, and events that unfairly remain unnoticed. So we want to create trends, write and film about what is truly important and interesting, sometimes unusual, occasionally impressive, but almost always positive and useful.

Discussion platform

This is Lviv’s main discussion platform for discussing important city issues and, most importantly, searching for solutions that are later implemented. Since 2016, we have held hundreds of public discussions with thousands of participants. All discussions are livestreamed, and many identified solutions have already been implemented or are in the process of implementation in the city.

Online television

Live broadcasts, engaging and informative videos, podcasts, and online broadcasts of various city events.

Production studio

On a commercial basis, we provide online broadcasting services and create advertising videos, presentation or promotional films, animation, and more.

Lviv news from “Tvoe Misto” — stories about the city and the people who develop it

We track events and stakeholder statements that create added value for Lviv’s development. We write about Lviv residents and those who love this city. We tell stories about innovation, quality of life, initiatives, economy, education, healthcare, style, urbanism, and the life of the city and its residents, so the city can develop and change for the better.

How do we operate?

We are supported by caring Lviv residents, including entrepreneurs, scholars, civic activists, and journalists who united into one NGO (“Tvoe Misto Lviv”) so the city could have independent, non-biased media. Today, the NGO has nearly 20 members with an exceptional reputation in the community. We also receive financial support for the stable development of the media hub from advertisers and grant providers. We label all advertising content as “advertising” or “partner publication.” At the same time, we do not publish “toxic” advertising that does not create added value for our reader or viewer.

“Tvoe Misto” editorial policy

The editorial policy of the media hub “Tvoe Misto” is based on the principles of professional, transparent, reliable, impartial, and correct delivery of information to portal visitors and to “Tvoe Misto” pages on social media.

Editorial content

In all editorial materials, we follow international standards of quality journalism: objectivity, political neutrality, responsibility, respect for rights and ethical norms and public interest, respect for individuals and legal entities, and a policy of zero tolerance toward any forms of discrimination (xenophobia, racism, misanthropy, chauvinism, etc.). We maintain a balance of opinions and separate facts from commentary. Reliability of information, relevance, completeness of presentation, and additional value for the audience are among the highest priorities of the “Tvoe Misto” editorial team. The work of journalists and editors must meet the highest standards of journalism.

Author columns

In addition to editorial content, the editorial team publishes author columns on topics relevant to the audience. An author column reflects the author’s subjective position. The “Tvoe Misto” editorial team does not always share the opinions expressed in columns, but is always ready to provide those who disagree with an opportunity to give a reasoned response in their own column.

Advertising content

All advertising on our resources must match the values and standards of “Tvoe Misto.” We label all advertising publications as “advertising” or “partner publication.” We refuse to publish unlabeled advertising (hidden ads). Placement of any advertising content must comply with the laws of Ukraine “On Media” and “On Advertising.” Final responsibility for the content of advertising publications lies with the advertiser. All other details of cooperation with advertisers are defined by our advertising policy.

Audience communication

The trust of our audience is our key goal. Therefore, we are always open to constructive criticism, comments, and suggestions. You can contact us via editorial email, by phone, regular mail, or in comments and messages on social media where we are present. We also hold meetings with our audience, which we announce in advance.
