The implementation of the 'Veteran Sports' program continues in Ukraine, which has already been used by more than 311,000 male and female veterans. This was announced by First Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
The program provides a quarterly payment of 1,500 UAH, which can be used for classes in gyms, swimming pools, sports clubs, or for the purchase of sports equipment.
“We strive to create a comprehensive system of veteran services so that every male and female veteran and their families feel real support from the state,” — the official emphasized.
One of the program's participants is veteran Yaroslav Sharkyi, who returned to an active life after a serious injury and the loss of a leg. He currently works as a tactical medicine instructor and regularly uses the program, spending funds on sports equipment and vitamins.
Applications can be submitted through the 'Diia' app, and a new round of intake will begin on April 1st.
You can use 'Veteran PRO' online by selecting your status on the website.
