On the night of July 1, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck a number of military and infrastructure facilities of the Russian Federation and in the temporarily occupied territories. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the Penza region of the Russian Federation, the joint-stock company "Research Institute of Physical Measurements", which is part of "Roscosmos", was hit.
"Hits and smoke were recorded at the facility", the statement said.

According to the General Staff, the enterprise manufactures components for missile technology, aviation systems, and military space applications, including sensors for cruise and ballistic missiles and elements of onboard aviation systems.
In addition, a number of logistical infrastructure facilities were hit: a road bridge across the Malyn Kynka River near Granitne in Donetsk region, a railway bridge across the Teplyanka River near Nyzhni Krynky in Luhansk region, and a crossing near Novotroitske in Donetsk region. Also, a fuel and lubricants depot in Melitopol and supply depots in Kursk region of the Russian Federation, Donetsk region, and Kharkiv region were hit.
Separately, strikes on five enemy UAV control points in Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions are reported.
