On the night of August 5, Russia launched a massive missile attack on civilian logistics and production in Kyiv and the region. Objects of 'Nova Poshta', 'ROZETKA', and 'Epicenter' were hit — large warehouse complexes, logistics centers, and production facilities were destroyed. There are dead and wounded as a result of the strikes.

Nova Poshta

On the night of August 5, a sorting center of 'Nova Poshta' in Kyiv was destroyed as a result of a massive enemy attack. This was reported by the company's press service.

It is noted that three people died as a result of the attack: two drivers from a partner carrier and one employee of a contracting organization. Eight more people were injured.

"We are in constant contact with their families and are providing all necessary help and support", — the company added.

The consequences of the enemy attack are currently being assessed. It is stated that 'Nova Poshta' will compensate customers for the full declared value of damaged shipments and will contact each one to inform them of the details of the reimbursement.

At the same time, the company added that despite the latest attack, they continue to operate throughout Ukraine.

"Over the years of the full-scale war, we have built a resilient operational system that allows us to ensure business continuity even in the most difficult conditions.
The current status of shipments and their tracking are available in the mobile app and on the company's official website", — emphasized 'Nova Poshta'.

Tonight, the enemy struck the production and logistics infrastructure of the 'Epicenter' company. There is one fatality. This was reported by the company.

"In a matter of minutes, Russian missiles destroyed what the company had been building for decades. Our employee died – a young man who had a whole life ahead of him. Strategic logistical capacities were destroyed. In fact, one of the largest ceramic tile manufacturers in Ukraine was lost", write Epicenter.

As a result of a massive missile strike, the enemy simultaneously hit two key logistical complexes of the company.

In Kyiv, the logistics center on Viskolzna Street, one of the company's key logistical facilities, burned down completely.

A company employee died in the logistics and production complex in Kalynivka. Three more employees were injured and are in the hospital.

They add that as a result of direct missile strikes, two large warehouse complexes were completely destroyed. Another missile hit the "Epicenter Ceramic Corporation" plant. A powerful explosion virtually destroyed the plant, making further operation of the enterprise impossible. The parking lot with employees' private cars was also destroyed near the logistics complex – 20 cars burned to ashes.

They note that production at the "Epicenter Ceramic Corporation" plant has been completely stopped. To prevent product shortages and ensure supply continuity, production will first be transferred to two of the company's enterprises abroad. In parallel, the company is starting preparations to launch production at another enterprise in Ukraine.

According to preliminary estimates, Epicenter says that full restoration of the destroyed production will take at least a year and a half, and most likely – about two years.

"The scale of the damage caused cannot yet be finally assessed. But today, it is not only about the company's losses. This is a targeted strike on Ukrainian production, logistics, jobs, and the country's ability to recover", the company emphasized.

We add that on the night of August 4, in Dnipro, destroyed a warehouse complex of the Biosphere corporation with an area of 20 thousand square meters. State Emergency Service rescuers worked continuously on site, but due to the scale of the fire, the warehouse was completely destroyed. A significant volume of products and part of the logistical capacities were lost in a matter of hours. There were no casualties; employees were in shelters.

We remind you that on the night of August 5, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with 24 ballistic missiles, 4 anti-ship missiles, and 115 strike drones of various types. Air defense forces destroyed 98 drones; the Air Force did not report the downing of missiles.

The main targets of the attack were warehouse facilities of civilian enterprises, including a brewery, building materials warehouses, and civilian logistics.
