Angelina Jolie has not yet officially announced her arrival in Ukraine.

However, the day before, on her Instagram page, the actress published a post about the humanitarian situation in the world. According to her, there are currently 41.6 million refugees in the world who have been forced to leave their countries, and another 68.7 million people are internally displaced persons.

In her post, Jolie mentioned, among others, Sudan, Gaza, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ukraine, Syria, Afghanistan, Myanmar, Venezuela, and South Sudan.

"None of this suffering is accidental. It is a direct result of decisions to bomb, to blockade, to besiege, to deport, and to look away. Violence, hunger, and the collapse of healthcare disproportionately affect those with the least ability to stop it or survive it: women, children, and the elderly," the actress wrote.

She also urged support for local organizations that help refugees and displaced persons.

"In more than twenty years of working with refugees, I have found that those closest to the center of a crisis know best how to respond – yet local organizations receive less than 10 percent of global humanitarian funding. Please learn more about the people doing this work and support them," Angelina Jolie stated.

Among them, Jolie mentioned the Ukrainian humanitarian mission"Proliska" and the charitable organization Help Ukraine Team.

Incidentally, this is Jolie's third visit to Ukraine since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion. In April 2022, she visited Lviv, where she met with displaced persons and volunteers, among others. In 2025, the actress visited the south of Ukraine, including Kherson.
