Today, September 21, on the International Day of Peace, Swiss ultramarathon runner Frédéric Splendore completed a charity run of over 4200 kilometers in Lviv in support of Ukraine. This was reported reported by the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi.
The marathon finished at the Field of Honored Heroes in Lviv, where our Defenders who gave their lives defending Ukraine are laid to rest.
According to Maksym Kozytskyi, the athlete wanted to personally honor our Heroes.
Frédéric Splendore also named his ultramarathon Beyond Borders.
We recall that hieromonk Makariy Dutka from Lviv region set two Ukrainian records in bench press, 216 kg and 220 kg, at the "Myron Cup" competition, organized by the All-Ukrainian Powerlifting Federation of Ukraine UPC in the city of Myronivka, Kyiv region.
