The Vice-Marshal of the Sejm of Poland, Krzysztof Bosak, stated that foreign capital is one of the factors influencing the rise in real estate prices in the country. He advocated for limiting the purchase of housing by foreigners and the mass acquisition of apartments by investment funds. Bosak said this said on "Rozmowa Wprost".

According to the politician, Poland has become a place for capital owners from Ukraine to invest their funds. He stated that such real estate acquisitions need to be limited. At the same time, Bosak noted that, in his opinion, the restrictions should apply not only to Ukrainian citizens but also to capital from the East in general.

"The purchase of real estate by Ukrainians and, in general, by capital from the East, as it also comes from Belarus and Russia. After all, no one controls which capital in Ukraine is Russian and which is Ukrainian," stated Krzysztof Bosak.

He also proposed limiting the possibility of mass apartment purchases by foreign investment funds. According to Bosak, housing should not be used solely as a way to preserve and invest capital.

The politician named new master plans introduced by Polish communities as another factor driving up prices. According to him, they can reduce the amount of land available for development, which affects the cost of plots and, consequently, housing.

Among other reasons, Bosak cited migration, increased construction requirements, and the concentration of jobs in the largest cities. He believes that changes in several areas of housing policy are needed to curb prices.

We remind you that Poland is preparing the largest and most comprehensive military aid package for Ukraine and is not going to succumb to intimidation from the Kremlin.
