In Poland, two detainees who beat up a Ukrainian couple in Wrocław face up to five years in prison. This was reported by the spokesperson for the District Prosecutor's Office in Wrocław, Jakub Dłubacz, in a comment to the correspondent "Ukrinform".
The perpetrators are accused of committing crimes under two articles of the Polish Criminal Code - 158 (beating) and 119 (violence motivated by national intolerance). Each of these articles carries a penalty of up to five years imprisonment.
Meanwhile, a third person who participated in the beating of the Ukrainian family has not yet been arrested.
We remind you that in Poland there was another attack on Ukrainian citizens due to their national origin. In Wrocław, unknown individuals beat up a young couple - a girl Nastya and her boyfriend Maksym. The girl's mother stated that the attackers reacted aggressively to the Ukrainian language and accent.
