In Poland, two detainees who beat up a Ukrainian couple in Wrocław face up to five years in prison. This was reported by the spokesperson for the District Prosecutor's Office in Wrocław, Jakub Dłubacz, in a comment to the correspondent "Ukrinform".

"Today, two detainees will be questioned at the Wrocław-Psie Pole District Prosecutor's Office, where they will be charged, and the prosecutor will decide on further actions in this case… They face up to five years of imprisonment," said Dłubacz.

The perpetrators are accused of committing crimes under two articles of the Polish Criminal Code - 158 (beating) and 119 (violence motivated by national intolerance). Each of these articles carries a penalty of up to five years imprisonment.

"The police are currently working on their apprehension," the prosecutor added.
