US President Donald Trump believes that Ukraine and Russia agreed to an "energy truce". At the same time, he promised to verify reports of its violations. The American president said this while speaking with journalists near the White House, reports "Yevropeiska Pravda".
Trump was asked about reports of Russia violating the agreement. In response, he said he was not sure about this and needed to check the information.
Journalists also noted that Ukraine and Russia had not publicly confirmed reaching an agreement to halt strikes on energy infrastructure.

When the US president was asked again about Russian attacks, he noted that he had to check the circumstances, since, in his words, the violations were on both sides.
Recall that on October 11, Trump said that Ukraine and Russia had supposedly agreed to immediately stop strikes on energy facilities. At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure continued and stated that Ukraine was ready to observe the truce provided Russia took reciprocal actions.
