There are 45 dangerous areas in Lviv where road accidents are most common. According to the patrol police in the Lviv region, statistics as of May 2021 take into account those where accidents with injuries occur most often.

If we are talking about the Halytskyi district (central part of Lviv), these are the areas on Viacheslava Chornovola Avenue 2 and 7, as well as the intersection of Chornovola – Pid Dubom, Horodotska – Yaroslava Mudroho.

In Zaliznychnyi district (western part of the city), road accidents on the streets Kulparkivska 226 and 230, Vyhovskoho 100, and the intersections of Liubinska – Symona Petliury and Horodotska – Vyhovskoho.

In Lychakivskyi district (north-eastern part), the places of concentration of accidents are: Bohdanivska 44, Pasichna 66-68, Lychakivska 7-10 and the intersection of Hlynianskyi Tract and Bihova street.

In Shevchenkivskyi district (north of Lviv) – the intersection of Lypynskoho – Zamarstynivska, Lypynskoho – Promyslova, Chornovola – Khimichna.

In Sykhivskyi district (city’s south-western part) – the intersection of st. Stryiska and Volodymyra Velykoho, street Sykhivska with Chervonoi Kalyny Avenue, Zelena and Kavaleridze streets.

There are eight areas in the Frankivskyi district where accidents are most common. We are talking about the street Volodymyra Velykoho near the house 51, Horodotska 179 and 223-227, Knyagyni Olhy 100, Naukova 35a, intersection of st. Kulparkivska with the streets Perfetskoho and Antonovycha etc.

We will add that in the Lviv region, the police identified 80 places where the greatest number of accidents are concentrated. On the ring road near the recreation center «Lviv Switzerland» alone, for five years (from August, 2016 to May, 2021) there were 68 road accidents.
