In the 24th separate mechanized brigade named after King Danylo [the ruler of Galicia-Volhynian kingdom in the XIII century], queues of those wishing to join the brigade are gathering. This is stated on the page of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In addition, thousands of citizens are also joining the ranks of territorial defence, said Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Maliar.
We will remind you that the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov declared that the Ukrainian government simplified the procedure of joining the forces of territorial defence.
«I urge all those who are ready to keep their weapons to join the territorial defence forces. We have simplified all procedures. Just take your passport – you don’t need anything else. We give weapons to patriots who are ready to use them against the enemy without hesitation,» – he said.
It should also be noted that on February 24, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on general mobilization. It will be held throughout Ukraine within 90 days from the date of entry into force of the decree.
