Stelmakhivka, Makiivka, Nevske and Bilohorivka came under Russian shelling during May 11.
The enemy carried out airstrikes on Hrekivka and Bilohorivka. The main battles continue to be fought in the Serebryansk Forestry, but the enemy has no success there.
In just one day, the enemy fired 96 rounds (417 shells).

Donetsk Region

In one day in Donetsk region: 1 dead, 12 wounded.
Sumy Region
2 mortar attacks were recorded at night and in the morning. Settlements of the Myropillia and Nova Sloboda communities came under fire. It passed without damage.
Yesterday, during the day, the Russians carried out 17 shelling at the border. More than 80 explosions were recorded. Settlements of Znob-Novhorod, Esman, Yunakiv, Bilopol, Mykolaiv, and Velyka Pysarivka communities were shelled.
Znob-Novhorod community: the Russians fired mortars, as a result of the shelling, a bridge on a local highway was destroyed. 2 private residential buildings were damaged.
Kharkiv Region
In the Slobozhansk direction, during the past day, the enemy carried out mortar and artillery attacks on the settlements of Huriiv, Hlyboke, Staritsa, Buhruvatka, Ohirtseve, Hatyshche, Vovchansk, Tykhe, Synelnykove, Zybyne, Bochkove, Budarky, and Velykyi Burluk.
In the Kupyansk direction, Odradne, Dvorichanske, Kamianka, Topoli, Krasne Pershe, Fiholivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna and Tabaivka came under enemy fire.
In the village Velykyi Burluk of the Kupyan district, trade pavilions on the market and at least 7 private residential buildings, a courthouse and a lyceum were damaged, private cars and transport of Municipally owned corporation «Vodokanal» were destroyed, there was a fire. A 16-year-old girl and women aged 43 and 62 were injured and hospitalized. Doctors assess their condition as moderate.
As a result of shelling in Vovchansk, a private residential building was damaged. An 88-year-old woman was injured and hospitalized.
Dnipropetrovsk Region
The enemy continues to attack the Nikopol district, yesterday it hit Nikopol, Marhanets and Myrove communities.
At night, the Russian army targeted the Nikopol district four times. Nikopol itself was under attack, as well as Chervonohryhorivka and Marhanets communities.
The enemy fired with heavy artillery. There are no dead or injured.
Information about the consequences is being clarified.
Zaporizhzhia Region
24 towns and villages were hit by enemy strikes in the past day in the region: Orikhiv, Gulyaipole, Kamianske, Stepnohirsk, Pavlivka, Omelnyk, Novodanylivka, Zaliznychne.
The enemy launched 95 attacks: 87 artillery attacks, three attacks from UAVs, two air attacks, two from MLRS, and one missile attack. 88 reports of the destruction of civilian objects were recorded. People survived.
Kherson Region
During the day, the enemy launched 80 shellings (339 shells), of which 4 shellings (12 shells) were fired at the city of Kherson.
In a field near the village of Blahodatne of the Chornobayivka community, two men came across a Russian mine. As a result of the detonation, one person died, and the second received minor injuries.
The village of Odradokamianka was attacked by the enemy.
As a result of the shelling, the pensioners’ spouses were injured and were taken to the hospital.
As a result of enemy shelling of the village. A woman received a moderate injury in the Romashkove village of Bilozerka.
In Kherson, rioters targeted the territory of a communal transport company.
The roof of the building and the trolley bus were damaged due to enemy shelling. Also, Russian artillery hit the building of the Kherson multi-disciplinary gymnasium No. 20. An enemy projectile hit a fire, which was extinguished by rescuers.
There were no casualties.
The enemy also targeted the hospital building and the territory and buildings of two critical infrastructure enterprises in the city of Kherson.

China remains an important partner for the EU, but it has squandered its chance to mediate between Russia and Ukraine.

Borrell noted that Beijing maintains a serious influence on Moscow and this can help stop Russian aggression against Ukraine. At the same time, China can no longer claim to be a mediator between the countries, since its «neutrality» was clearly pro-Russian. However, the «unlimited friendship» between China and the Russian Federation has its limits.
«This is a kind of limited unlimited friendship. This pair is quite unbalanced: Russia has only 1 percent of the world’s GDP – economically it can be compared with, for example, Italy or Spain. China accounts for 20 percent of the world’s GDP. Yes, China supports Russia, but so far he has not provided military aid to Russia. We have to be careful not to push Russia into China’s hands. But I don’t think China is happy with what is happening in Russia,» Borrell said.
He stated that China remains an important partner, with a trade turnover of approximately 2.7 billion euros. At the same time, Beijing remains a competitor of the European Union in the economy and an enemy in values.
«We live in a world of competition. China is turning into a world power, due to its own size and potential. The question is not to stop China in this transformation, but how to convince China to use its power constructively, in accordance with international law,» – Borrel added.
