In Lviv, the City Council plans to build a rehabilitation centre for Ukrainians who were seriously injured in the war, according to the official website.

Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi called on the European Parliament to financially join the construction of such a centre.

«We are building a national centre in Lviv for those who were seriously injured, and we need the support of the European Union. Because every day, there are dozens of people, dozens of wounded civilians and soldiers,» – said the mayor.

According to the Member of the European Parliament, Guy Verhofstadt, the European Union should support Ukraine as much as possible, as the «war for the soul of Europe» continues today.

«Europe has only one thing left – to provide Ukraine with all the necessary assistance – military, financial and political. Because the war that is currently taking place in Ukraine is a war for Europe and its soul, for European values,» – Guy Verhofstadt said.

It will be recalled that due to the war in Ukraine and the imposition of martial law, Lviv city and regional hospitals do not conduct scheduled operations, but work as usual and continuously and fully provide medical care to residents of the city, region and IDPs.
