The decree separately noted Melania Trump's activities to assist Ukrainians who were illegally deported and forcibly displaced from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine controlled by Russia.
Recall that on October 23, the White House reported that Melania Trump had allegedly brokered a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine in the Russian-occupied Oleshky, where a humanitarian crisis had developed.
Subsequently, the First Lady hinted at the possibility of a personal visit to Ukraine amid reports of agreements on a ceasefire in the city.
On November 2, Melania Trump stated that, as part of a humanitarian mission during the ceasefire in Oleshky, almost 800 people had been evacuated.
