Luhansk Region
In the Svatove community, the enemy tried to improve the tactical position near Novoselivske and did not succeed. There is not a single local resident left in this settlement, but the Russians do not abandon their intentions to capture it.
Artillery shelling is observed in Stelmakhivka almost every day. They managed to evacuate the man from there last night. In addition to Stelmakhivka, the enemy opened fire on Makiivka and Bilohorivka. During the day, the enemy fired 99 rounds (478 shells).
Donetsk Region
The enemy carried out 32 attacks during the day, using the S-300 air defense system, the Grad anti-aircraft missile system, artillery, and an airstrike (the type of missile was not established).
17 settlements were shelled: Kostyantynivka, Chasiv Yar, Druzhkivka, Hirnyk, Toretsk, Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Krasnohorivka, Bakhmut, Keramik, Hostre, Karlivka, Novoukrainka, Pervomaiske, Druzhba, Umanske, Kramatorsk.
15 residential buildings (including 3 multi-apartment buildings), two schools, a kindergarten, a hospital, 2 power lines, a railway track, a company car, a lyceum building, a church, the administrative building of the Selidove correctional colony, a boiler room, 5 civilian cars, a truck, an administrative building, 4 garages, utility building, gas pipeline.
In the Donetsk region, five people died and four people were injured in one day
Sumy Region
The Russians launched two shellings of the border in the morning. The Shalyhyne community was fired upon with small arms and a large-caliber machine gun (rounds). There was mortar shelling (7 explosions) in the Bilopillia community. In advance, without loss.
Yesterday, during the day, the Russians carried out 12 shelling at the border. 136 explosions were recorded. Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Shalyhyne, and Nova Sloboda communities came under fire.
As a result of the shelling, a private residential building caught fire in the Nova Sloboda community. The power line was also damaged due to mortar shelling (6 explosions).
Kharkiv Region
In the Slobozhansk direction, the enemy carried out mortar and artillery attacks on the settlements of Kozacha Lopan, Hoptivka, Lukyantsi, Hatyshche, Budarky, Nesterne, Kruhle, Zemlianka, and Staritsa.
In the Kupiansk direction, the Russians conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the Masyutivka area. An air strike was carried out in the Kislivka region.
Dvorichanske, Kamianka, Krasne Pershe, Mitrofanivka, Fiholivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kindrashivka, Kupiansk, Kislivka, Tabaivka, and Berestove came under artillery and mortar fire.
Two people – a man and a woman – were killed as a result of artillery shelling in the village of Dvorichna in the Kupiansk district, another man received shrapnel wounds and was hospitalized.
In the evening, the enemy massively shelled the city of Vovchansk, Chuhuiv district. A hit was recorded near the unit of the State Emergency Service, three residential buildings and commercial buildings, the building of the Kharkiv Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health were damaged. A hit was also recorded near the building of the Vovchansk oil extraction plant.
In the village Tyshchenkivka, Kupiansk district, as a result of shelling from multiple rocket launchers, at least four residential buildings and commercial buildings were damaged, and fires broke out.
Dnipropetrovsk Region
Yesterday, the invaders covered Nikopol with artillery fire. The Chervonohryhorivka community and Nikopol came under enemy attack. Almost 30 shells hit the city. Four people were injured.
Several fires broke out in the city, and economic buildings and infrastructure facilities burned.
14 five-story buildings and 7 private houses were damaged. An economic structure was destroyed, 8 were damaged, and there is destruction at three private enterprises and a service station.
Zaporizhzhia Region
The enemy struck 90 attacks on 14 towns and villages during the day: 76 artillery shells on Zaliznychne, Gulyaipilske, Olhivske, Malynivka, Shcherbaky, 12 – from anti-aircraft missiles on Gulyaipole, Novodanylivka, Bilohirya, Stepove, Kamianske, and two airstrikes – along Mala Tokmachka. No victims.
The destruction of 24 civilian objects was recorded. the Russians once again took aim at Novoyakovlivka. Enemy «Hrad» worked on the peaceful homes of residents of Stepnohirsk. The enemy also struck high-rise buildings, private houses, and farm buildings in Orikhiv. In addition, the cemetery was damaged.
Kherson Region
The invaders carried out 80 shellings (407 shells) during the day, of which 14 shellings (60 shells) were fired at Kherson.
The Russians once again shelled the civilian infrastructure. The Korabelnyi district of Kherson was under fire. As a result of the shelling, housing, and commercial buildings were damaged and destroyed. A large-scale fire broke out, which was quickly extinguished by rescuers.
The enemy also shelled Beryslavshchyna. The village was under fire. Lviv of the Tyahinka territorial community. As a result of the shelling, two men were wounded, and doctors are providing them with the necessary assistance.
A Russian mine blew up a tractor near the village of Tomaryne in the Beryslav community. A tractor driver came across explosives during fieldwork. A 53-year-old man was injured, the victim’s condition is stable.
A 17-year-old boy came across Russian explosives in the village of Trifonivka of the Velyka Oleksandrivka community. As a result of the detonation, he received serious injuries and was hospitalized.
In addition, at night the invaders fired at the village. Kizomys of Bilozerka community. No casualties.
In a day, five people were injured as a result of Russian aggression. Another 95 people were evacuated from the territory of the region liberated from the Russians.

The head of state summarized the results of his visits to Italy, Germany, France and Great Britain.
On the evening of May 15, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, returning from a major European tour, traditionally addressed Ukrainians and talked about the main events of the day.
Zelensky noted that he is returning home from a major European tour with new defense packages.
He specified that during his visits he coordinated positions with allies before the G7 and the NATO summit in Vilnius.
«Our peace formula was discussed at all the meetings, and now there is more willingness of partners to follow the Ukrainian formula. There is more support for our accession to the EU, more understanding that Ukraine’s accession to NATO will happen, it is inevitable,» Zelensky emphasized.
«Italy – good talks with Giorgia, Madam Prime Minister. Meeting with the Pontiff, quite encouraging. Meeting with the President of Italy.
Germany – Mr. President Steinmeier, the meeting with Mr. Chancellor Olaf Scholz is particularly meaningful for our defense.

Zelensky reminded that he received a weighty European award named after Charlemagne in Aachen on behalf of the Ukrainian people. He noted that for the first time in the hall where laureates are honored, the Ukrainian language was heard – in a speech. The President is convinced that Ukrainian will be one of the official languages of the European Union.

Thanks to Germany for the largest defense package – 2 billion 700 million euros. Air defense systems «Iris» of various modifications, many missiles for them, guns, shells, armored vehicles...
In addition, Germany will support our country in the long term – there are 11 billion euros for this, purely for defense. Plus, Germany participates in the European Peace Fund, which strengthens our defense.
Thanks to France for new opportunities for our soldiers in countering Russian terror, and now is not the time to talk about details. Thank you for additional equipment, for additional armored vehicles. For help in consolidating partners.
Thanks to Britain for agreeing to train our pilots. We are creating a coalition to train pilots on modern Western aircraft. Britain – yes, Poland – yes, and I am sure: France and other partners will join. We continue to work on the fighter coalition, we are moving actively.
