Luhansk Region
The Russians fired 87 shots at the positions of the Defense Forces during the day. Novoselivske, Makiivka, Nevske, Dibrova and Bilohorivka were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling by the Russians.
As a result of enemy shelling on April 24, a house in Makiivka was destroyed.
To provide medical aid to their wounded, the Russian occupiers continue to actively use the medical facilities of the occupied Luhansk region.
In particular, in Khrustalne, they deployed a military hospital on the territory of the city hospital. And in Holubivka, one of the schools is used as a medical center.
The situation in the region remains tense.
Donetsk Region
During the day, the Russians carried out 34 attacks on 18 settlements, including: Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Kostyantynivka, Kramatorsk, Krasnohorivka, Kurakhove, Chasiv Yar, Velyka Novosilka, New York, Ocheretyne, Severne, Vremivka, the village of Ivanopillia, the village of Karlivka, the village of Novobakhmutivka, the village of Predtechyne, the village of Khromove, the village of Shakhtarske.
39 residential buildings were damaged, including one multi-apartment building; 2 schools, public transport stop, outpatient clinic building, railway track, utility building, power line.
In one day in the Donetsk region: 2 dead, 13 injured.
Sumy Region
At night, the city of Seredyno-Buda was shelled from the territory of the Russian Federation. There was no information about casualties and damage. The data is being verified.
During the day of April 24, the Russians shelled 7 border communities – Esman, Myropillia, Znob-Novhorod, Bilopillia, Shalyhyne, Seredyno-Buda, Yunakiv. 83 mortar and artillery hits were recorded. Destruction is recorded.
Three private houses and a private shop were damaged on the territory of the Myropillia community.
Esman community: a warehouse was damaged, a residential building was damaged by fire.
Kharkiv Region
In the Slobozhanske direction, Russian troops shelled the settlements of Okip, Mali Prohody, Strilecha, Neskuchne, Hatishche, Budarky, and Chuhunivka.
In the Kupiansk direction, the settlements of Topoli, Kamianka, Krasne Pershe, Fiholivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kindrasivka, Masyutivka, Kislivka were hit by enemy artillery and mortar attacks.
A 60-year-old woman was killed during artillery shelling in Dvorichna village of Kupiansk district.
Also yesterday, the city of Vovchansk was under enemy mortar fire. No casualties or significant damage.
Dnipropetrovsk Region
On April 24, the Russians attacked the Nikopol district twice a day. Shells from drones and heavy artillery flew into the territory of the Marhanets community. 2 private houses and an outbuilding were damaged. No victims.
Zaporizhzhia Region
Over the yesterday, Russian troops carried out 111 strikes on 20 towns and villages on the demarcation line in the Zaporizhzhia region: 91 artillery shells, 5 airstrikes, 5 from MLRS and 10 attacks using UAVs.
So far, 11 damage reports have been received. Russian shells are destroying utility networks, homes and people’s property. One woman, born in 1957. was wounded in Stepnohirsk. She was given the necessary help. Data on the victims are being clarified.
Kherson Region
During the day, the Russian army fired 61 shots into the region, of which the enemy fired 6 shots into the city of Kherson.
Areas of settlements were shelled: Zmiivka village, Ivanivka village, Dniprovske village, Odradokamyanka village, Vesele village, Kozatske village, Lvove village, Dudchany village, Zymivnyk village, Shlyakhove village, Vysuntsi village Sofiivka, Kizomys village, Inzhenerne village, Olhivka village, Tokarivka village, Beryslav village, Mylove village, Respublikanets village, Tyahinka, Antonivka village, village Havrylivka, village Mykhailivka, village Sadove
The Russian military targeted the residential quarters of the populated areas of the region; the territory and the building of the preschool education institution of the Nova Oleksandrivka territorial community of Beryslav district; the building of the public organization in the center of Kherson.
Due to the Russian aggression, 4 people were injured.
52 people were evacuated from the de-occupied territory of the region.

This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, during the Council of Foreign Ministers of the EU.
«Russia’s defeat is a guarantee of a normal life for Europe. There is no more important task now. To achieve it, Ukraine needs more weapons and ammunition, and all this must be delivered as soon as possible,» the minister said.
According to him, the side with better logistics and supplies has a better chance of winning the war. He called on European colleagues to speed up supplies and ensure Ukraine’s decisive advantage over Russia on the battlefield.
The minister listed short-term, medium-term and long-term military needs: armored vehicles, tanks, artillery systems, long-range artillery and ammunition, strengthening of Ukraine’s anti-aircraft and anti-missile defense
Kuleba also emphasized the need to immediately begin training Ukrainian pilots on the F-16 and enable the provision of Western-made combat aircraft to Ukraine.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine called on the EU to increase the capacity of logistics and repair hubs, to continue and expand training programs for the Ukrainian military, to cover ammunition needs thanks to increased production volumes.
«Today marks exactly 14 months since the beginning of the biggest political and security earthquake in our lifetime and in the recent history of Europe. No one expected either such a scale of aggression, or that Ukraine would withstand the blow, or that the EU would demonstrate such unity and strength. We have to prove that «Putin is mistaken, thinking that he can wait for our strength, that we will be the first to blink, that our resolve will waver before his aggression. No, we will not retreat and we will not tire. We will not waver. He will waver,» the minister added.
