Luhansk Region
The Russian army shelled the positions of Ukrainian troops 103 times during the day: 43 times with mortars, 13 times with anti-aircraft guns, 41 times with artillery, and 6 times with tanks.
Dibrova, Bilohorivka and Novoselivske were under artillery fire.
Donetsk Region
The Russians carried out 34 shellings during the day.
16 settlements came under fire: Avdiivka (bus depot, residential sector, communal enterprise, camping site, cooperative, coke chemical plant), Bakhmut (residential sector), Kostyantynivka (Private limited company «Svynets», OJSC «Kostyantynivka Refractory Plant», country house cooperative «Khimik»). 58 objects were damaged during the day.
In the Donetsk region, three civilians were killed and four were wounded during the day.
Sumy Region
During the night and in the morning, Russian troops carried out 10 shellings of border communities. Territorial communities of Seredyno-Buda, Znob-Novhorod, Esman, Shalyhyne, Hlukhiv were under fire. 52 shots were recorded. There is destruction.
During the day yesterday, the Russians shelled the border communities of Bilopillia, Esman, Yunakiv, Shalyhyne and Seredyno-Buda. 100 mortar, artillery and AGS hits were recorded.
The Russians hit the Seredyno-Budsk community with barrel artillery and «Hrad» anti-aircraft guns. Four unguided rockets were fired from a helicopter at the city of Seredyno-Buda. Four residential buildings were damaged.
A residential building and buildings were damaged in the Esman community.
In the Yunakiv community, two residents of the village of Basivka were injured. In addition, a mini tractor blew up on the territory of this community. Its driver was not injured.
Kharkiv Region
In the Slobozhansk direction, the Russians shelled Huriiv Kozachok, Hlyboke, Oliinykove and Zelene.
Kamianka, Krasne Pershe, Novomlynsk, Lyman Pershyy, Kislivka and Berestove came under artillery and mortar fire in the Kupyansk direction.
The enemy fired at the village. Ustymivka, Kupiansk district. A private home, a car were damaged, there was a fire.
As a result of the shelling of the village Petropavlivka, Kupiansk district, a private residential building and an outbuilding were damaged.
In Vovchansk, Chuhuiv District, the boiler house building, oxygen cylinders on the territory of the oil extraction plant, a private household, and the building of the fire and rescue department were damaged. An employee of the State Emergency Service received a minor injury.
Houses were damaged in the villages of Podola and Vilkhuvatka, Kupiansk district.
Dnipropetrovsk Region
Yesterday, in the Dnipropetrovsk region, aggressors shelled Chervonohryhorivka and Marhanets communities four times in the Nikopol district, firing more than 20 shells from heavy artillery. Damaged pumping station.
An unknown object fell in the Synelnykove district. According to preliminary data, it was dropped by an enemy plane. Details are being clarified.
Zaporizhzhia Region
In the Zaporizhzhia region, the Russian army carried out 83 strikes: seven air strikes, 5 UAV strikes, two air defense missile strikes, and 69 artillery strikes. 26 new destructions were recorded.
Orikhiv, Preobrazhenka, and Novodanylivka were under fire. Two men, born in 1976 and 1979, died.
Enemy aircraft attacked Gulyaipillia: residential buildings in Uspenivka were damaged, people were not injured.
Kherson Region
The occupiers shelled populated areas of the region 75 times. 389 shells were fired from artillery, rocket launchers, mortars, tanks, hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers (RPG), drones and aviation. One person is injured.
Kherson was attacked 11 times, 33 shells were fired into the city. And in the village of Kizomys, up to 11 residential buildings, a church, two shops, garages and a car were damaged as a result of shelling.

During the conversation with Xi Jinping, the president raised the issue of freedom of navigation and trade, in particular the «Grain from Ukraine» program.
In the evening of April 26, President Volodymyr Zelensky traditionally addressed Ukrainians and talked about the main events of the day. In particular, he spoke with the Chinese leader Xi Jinping. The head of Ukraine called it long-term and «rather rational».
Zelensky provided details in his evening address.
«Such conversations are usually said to open up opportunities. Now there is an opportunity to give new energy to our relations – Ukraine and China. There is an opportunity to use China’s political influence to restore the principles and rules on which peace should be based,» he said.
According to the president of our country, Ukraine and China, like the absolute majority of the world, are equally interested in the strength of national sovereignty and territorial integrity. In compliance with the main security rules, in particular regarding the inadmissibility of threats with nuclear weapons and the spread of nuclear weapons around the world.
«We are equally interested in ensuring that the situation around the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant is finally fully secured and that nuclear power plants will never be used for military purposes again – which is precisely the kind of cynical use of nuclear power plants that Russia is trying to make the norm,» Zelensky added.
Also, during the conversation with Xi Jinping, the president raised the issue of freedom of navigation and trade, in particular the «Grain from Ukraine» program.
«I informed Mr. Xi Jinping about our efforts to restore sea food exports. And I heard words of support for our Black Sea grain initiative, its extension, as well as support for our humanitarian efforts, in particular the «Grain from Ukraine» program,» he noted.
An essential part of the conversation between Zelensky and Xi Jinping was the restoration of a just peace within the framework of his Ukrainian formula.
«I presented the Ukrainian peace formula, its specific points. We agreed to continue our communications,» Zelensky added.
