In Lviv, public transport fares will increase starting May 16. The cost of a cash trip will rise to 30 UAH, and when paying with "LeoKart" – to 23 UAH. The new tariffs will take effect starting Saturday. The corresponding decision was made on May 15 by the executive committee of the Lviv City Council.
Consequently, the fare will be:
23 UAH – when paying via "LeoKart" or the app (was 17 UAH);
11.5 UAH – for students with "LeoKart" (was 8.5 UAH);
26 UAH – when paying with a bank card (was 20 UAH);
30 UAH – when paying in cash (currently 25 UAH).
The fine for fare evasion will also increase – up to 520 UAH.

The city council noted that for passengers paying with "LeoKart" or a bank card, a free transfer within 40 minutes will continue to apply. It will extend to all public transport within the Lviv community.
In addition, the cost of passes will change:
a 30-day pass will cost 1150 UAH;
student pass – 575 UAH.
All electronic tickets and passes purchased before the tariff change will remain valid.
As a reminder, the last time tariffs were raised was in June 2025. At that time, as the city council noted, fuel cost about 45 UAH per liter; now it is over 90 UAH.
