Mahler Music Night
When: May 15 at 21:00.
Where: Lviv Organ Hall (8 Stepana Bandery St.).
Insightful and sensitive song cycles by Gustav Mahler, full of sincerity, inner experiences, and philosophical peace, will be performed in the unique atmosphere of the Organ Hall at sunset by mezzo-soprano Liliya Nikitchuk and pianist Oleksandra Mentsynska.
During Mahler's lifetime, he was valued as a conductor but not understood as a composer. Only half a century after his death did Mahler gain fame as an outstanding symphonist of the 20th century. However, it is in his song genres that his vulnerable soul is most fully revealed. Each of Mahler's songs is an entire universe where childhood naivety borders on deep philosophical reflection.

Quietly without words. Ukrainian chanson
When: May 17 at 18:00.
Where: Word and Voice Theater Center (38 Horodotska St.).
The performance by the Word and Voice Theater Center is built on one of the most beloved genres of Ukrainian song. It is an urban romance or chanson (from the French chanson — "song").
The fabric of the performance is formed by songs and texts of Ivan Franko, Lesya Ukrainka, Taras Shevchenko set to the music of Bohdan Vesolovskyi, Anatoliy Kos-Anatolskyi, Arkadiy Filipenko, and other composers — as well as French and Polish chanson, which is organically woven into the musical culture of Lviv.
The character of the performance is a Girl we can meet every day in the city: on the square, in a tram, on a train... She is always going somewhere. Life's scenery changes. But the place of her origin remains unchanged in her. Her lonely voice overcomes the desert of the city.
Tickets: 400 UAH.
Solo performance “The Saint”
When: May 17 at 18:00.
Where: Maria Zankovetska National Drama Theater (1 Lesi Ukrainky St.).
Solo performance. Vilnius City Theater of Oskaras Koršunovas.
The story of Mary of Egypt, shrouded in rumors and mysticism, is the starting point for the creators of the play. This woman, who in the 4th century AD in Alexandria was forced to sell her body, set out with pilgrims to Jerusalem. However, the gates to the Holy Sepulchre were closed to her. After that, she wandered the desert for a long time, seeking repentance and peace. What would the story of Mary of Egypt be like if she wandered the modern urbanized world like a “desert” in search of liberation? Is there less violence in our today's, more civilized society? Is it more empathetic or tolerant?
Tickets: 100-790 UAH.
Viktor Vynnyk and the band “MERY”

When: May 17 at 19:00.
Where: Lviv Officers' House (22 Teatralna St.).
In 2026, the band celebrates its 30th anniversary.
“This will not be a traditional rock performance by the band, Viktor Vynnyk, that Lviv residents are so used to. Instead, the musicians promise to perform their new and best songs in a new, unexpected sound.
So an almost acoustic guitar-piano vibe will prevail, although it won't be without surprises”, — say the organizers.
Tickets: 450-700 UAH.
