The military leadership emphasizes that the effectiveness of long-range strikes up to 200 km has increased due to the creation of coordination centers in corps, which has improved interaction between units.
At the same time, they stress that the achieved results do not diminish the need for further capacity building. Russia is also actively developing the unmanned systems sector; however, according to Ukrainian assessments, it faces problems with staffing its units.
It is separately noted that since the beginning of the year, the Russian Federation has recruited about 14.5 thousand people into UAV units – approximately 21% of the planned figure. Also, according to assessments, the attempt to recruit students into these units did not yield the expected effect.
