The problem with the dialogue between former Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi had been ongoing for months. This was stated in an interview with "Sky News". stated President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
According to him, there are issues that can only be resolved if the ministry and the army cooperate.
The President also did not directly answer the question of whether he could reinstate Fedorov as minister.

He added that he respects both Fedorov and Syrskyi. But he stressed that it is wrong to attribute the merits of deep strikes ("deep strikes") against Russia to one person. According to him, these are joint efforts, operations led by intelligence agencies, intelligence, and soldiers on the ground.
We remind you, in Ukraine, a wave of protests regarding Fedorov's return to the post of Minister of Defense, which began on July 16.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy acknowledged that there was a lack of communication between Minister Fedorov and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, and problems at the front and in mobilization remained unresolved.
After a series of protests in Lviv, Kyiv, and other cities (from July 16 to 21), the President announced the dismissal of Oleksandr Syrskyi and announced the appointment of Mykhailo Drapatiy as Commander-in-Chief.
Former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov stated that he refused all other job offers from President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. He stressed that he is solely interested in returning to the position of Minister of Defense of Ukraine. After all, only this position, in his opinion, provides real authority to complete the initiated army transformation.
