On the night of May 4, the air alert lasted for four hours. As a result of an enemy attack on the territory of one of the communities, three non-residential buildings were damaged. There are no victims or injured. Information is being clarified.
Luhansk Region
Makiivka and Bilohorivka came under artillery fire from the Russians. During the day in the region, the invaders carried out 103 attacks on the positions of the Defense Forces, firing a total of 446 shells. In particular, 12 strikes were recorded from multiple rocket systems, three from drones, 45 from mortars, 33 from artillery, nine from tanks and one from aviation.
Donetsk Region
Russian troops shelled Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Kostiantynivka, Kurakhove, Toretsk, Chasiv Yar, Velyka Novosilka, Zarichne, New York, Veselyi Hai, Vremivka, Hannivka, Netaylove, Novoukrainka, Umanske, Uspenivka, Khromove, Shakhtarske and Kramatorsk..
Enemy strikes damaged 61 residential buildings, including 11 multi-apartment buildings, workshops of the Avdiiv Coke Chemical Plant, a workshop of a motor vehicle enterprise, five civilian cars, two garages, a former dental office building, two farm buildings, a gas station (not working), premises of a building materials base, a water the pipeline and warehouse of the Kurakhivskaya TPP, a gas pipe, a local water supply, two educational buildings of the Kramatorsk College.
Russian invaders killed two civilians and injured nine more in the Donetsk region within a day.
Chernihiv Region
The Russian army carried out three mortar attacks and one airstrike during the day. In the village of Ivanivka, Novhorod-Siverskyi district, on the night of May 4, an airstrike damaged two private houses, and a fire broke out. One person died.
Sumy Region
the Russians shelled the border 17 times at night and in the morning. A total of 108 explosions were recorded. The settlements of Yunakiv, Myropillia, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Khotyn, Znob-Novhorod, Seredyno-Buda, Shalyhyne, and Esman communities suffered enemy attacks.
Yesterday, during the day, Russian troops carried out 11 shellings on the border communities of the region, as a result of which 67 explosions were heard. The settlements of Myropillia, Yunakiv, Znob-Novhorod, Bilopollia, Vorozhbyanka and Seredyno-Buda communities were under enemy fire.
Kharkiv Region
In the Slobozhansk direction, the Russians shelled Sotnytskyi Kozachok, Huriiv Kozachok, Baranivka, Chervona Zorya, Strilecha, Hatyshche, Vovchanski Khutory and Mykolayivka with artillery and mortars.
In the Kupiansk direction, Topoli, Kamianka, Figolivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Lyman Pershyi, Kislivka, Krokhmalne and Berestove were hit.
As a result of the shelling by the invaders, a private residential building was damaged in the village of Bochkove, Chuhuiv district, and a private household was damaged in the village of Vilkhuvatka, Kupiansk district.
Yesterday, an explosion of an unknown explosive object occurred during an additional inspection of a power transmission line in the village of Hrakove, Chuhuiv district. As a result of the detonation, two pyrotechnicians of the State Emergency Service were injured, one of them died in the hospital from his injuries.
Yesterday, an MTZ-82 tractor was blown up by an unknown explosive near the village of Pohonivka, Izyum district. The 58-year-old driver was hospitalized with numerous injuries. The explosion occurred when the tractor was driving near a field on a dirt road.
Dnipropetrovsk Region
On the night of May 4, Russian troops struck Nikopol with artillery and drones, as a result of which a 32-year-old man was injured. The victim was taken to the hospital.
An enemy strike in Nikopol damaged 11 private houses and nine farm buildings, a gas pipeline and an electricity transmission line. At one of the industrial enterprises, destruction was recorded, the fire was already extinguished by the rescuers.
On May 3, during the day, Nikopol survived two attacks from the invaders’ artillery. As a result of enemy attacks, an 86-year-old woman was injured, 13 private houses were damaged, one of which caught fire – rescuers extinguished the fire. Two farm buildings were completely destroyed, nine more were mutilated. Enemy shells also hit two medical facilities, solar panels, power lines and cars.
Zaporizhzhia Region
The invaders made 112 attacks on 20 settlements, in particular, in Orikhiv, Gulyaipole, Stepnohirsk, Yurkivka, Malynivka, and Kamianka. The enemy carried out one missile and three air strikes, five attacks from drones, one from rocket salvo systems, as well as 101 artillery strikes.
Residential buildings and civilian infrastructure of the region: life support facilities and social institutions were hit by the Russian army. The Stepnohirsk community was left without electricity due to enemy strikes. As a result of the attack on Stepnohirsk, a man born in 1951 was wounded. The victim was hospitalized.
Kherson Region
Russian troops carried out 98 attacks per day: eight from rocket salvo systems, seven from drones, 38 from artillery, 39 from mortars, five from tanks, one from aviation. In total, the invaders fired 539 shells across the region.
In particular, the Russians shelled Kherson 16 times a day: five from rocket salvo systems, seven from artillery, three from mortars, and one from a tank. In total, the enemy fired 82 shells, targeting places where the most people are. Thus, the railway station, residential buildings, the «Epicenter» hypermarket, the «ATB» store and a gas station were affected.
Three civilians were killed as a result of an enemy attack on the «Epicenter», two were killed due to shelling of the station square. Four dead people were discovered as a result of a hit on the «ATB’’ store. One man died in his own car near a railway crossing, four died in residential areas of the city. Three more victims were energy workers who were killed by the Russians while they were working near Stepanivka.
As a result of the Russian shelling, 45 residents of Kherson were wounded in a day: five – during the shelling of «Epicenter», 30 – as a result of damage to the «ATB» store, eight – at the railway station and station square, two – in residential areas of the city.
In total, yesterday, the invaders targeted the districts of 30 settlements of the region, killing 23 civilians, wounding another 46 civilians, including two children.
In particular, in Tokarivka, a 47-year-old man died as a result of enemy shelling in the yard of his own house, and in Ivanovka, a 61-year-old civilian was wounded.
The Russians attacked Kizomys of the Bilozerka community from aviation, dropping three guided aerial bombs on it. As a result of the enemy attack, three residential buildings were completely destroyed, and the gas pipeline was damaged.

On Thursday, May 4, the «Kherson-Lviv» train, attacked by Russia, arrived in Lviv. People said they were horrified by Russian terrorist attacks on civilians.

The train «Kherson-Lviv» arrived at the final stop almost without delays. The brigade of railway workers in Lviv was met with applause.
«In Kherson, the train crew acted quickly and clearly, a few minutes before the hit, they moved two passengers with limited mobility from the evacuation car to shelter, and then promptly unhooked the burning car from the train, boarded the passengers and departed from the station with a delay of only 14 minutes, despite chaos and air alarm», – reported in «Ukrzaliznytsia».
In a commentary for «Radio Freedom», one of the passengers of the train said that the Russians mercilessly shelled the railway station in Kherson.
«What we saw was horror. The shelling was on the station. It’s very scary, many windows were broken, there are dead and wounded in Kherson. People were covered in blood. We heard everything in the waiting room. I came to Lviv to meet my daughter and I’m returning to Kherson again. Because my whole family is there. I’m afraid, of course, but I’ll return home,» said Natalia Levkopas, a resident of Kherson.
Railroad workers who came under Russian fire said they would continue to work to get people to safety.
