In Stryi district, the architectural monument of local significance "Villa, early 20th century" has obtained a protection agreement. This was reported reported by the Lviv Regional Prosecutor's Office.

As reported by the Lviv Regional Prosecutor's Office, the building was erected in the early last century by a local doctor Terletsky in the Art Nouveau style. Before World War II, it was known as "Villa Terletsky", and later it was used as an administrative building in the city of Skole.

Prosecutors established that the monument was entered into the State Register of Immovable Monuments of Ukraine back in 2021. However, the Skole city council, which owns the building, had not concluded the mandatory protection agreement with the Department of Architecture and Urban Development of Lviv Regional Military Administration for five years.

The prosecutor's office notes that the absence of such an agreement deprived the monument of a proper legal mechanism for protection and control over its preservation.

In order to protect the interests of the state and ensure the proper preservation of the cultural heritage site, prosecutors filed a lawsuit. During the court proceedings, the owner rectified the violations and concluded the necessary protection agreement, thus the proceedings were closed due to voluntary compliance with the lawsuit's requirements.
