Ukraine attacked Moscow and the Moscow region at night, using 400 drones. The strikes resulted in fires in buildings, including in an industrial park and the Wildberries logistics center, Russian officials reported on Monday. The attack was confirmed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Russian propagandists called this drone attack on the Moscow region "one of the largest in recent years," and local residents reported numerous explosions and fires. Residents also claimed that Russia's largest online retailer, Wildberries, in "Koledino" in Podolsk, Moscow region, was being attacked by drones.
Later, the governor of the Moscow region, Andrey Vorobyov, reported that as a result of a drone attack on the city of Domodedovo, near one of Moscow's main airports, seven people were injured, including three Chinese citizens.
The head of Domodedovo, Yevheniya Khrustalyova, stated that a fire broke out on the territory of the local industrial park, and the mayor of Moscow, Sergey Sobyanin, reported that over 400 drones were launched over the Moscow region from 20:30 to 05:00. According to him, most of them were allegedly neutralized.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that Ukrainian forces struck logistics facilities and an oil depot in the region of the Russian capital.
