President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that during a meeting with US President Donald Trump, he discussed licenses for the production of interceptors for Patriot systems, as well as the intensification of the diplomatic process. The head of state wrote about this on his social media after negotiations in the White House.
According to him, the parties paid special attention to diplomatic efforts to end the war.
Zelensky called the meeting with Donald Trump "good." He also expressed condolences to the American president on the death of Senator Lindsey Graham, whom he called "a true friend of Ukraine."
Recall that the meeting between Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump in the White House on July 28 lasted more than an hour.
By the way, this week Kyiv was visited by American far-right influencer Laura Loomer, who has access to US President Donald Trump. Previously, she repeatedly downplayed the significance of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, but during her visit, she met with President Volodymyr Zelensky and recorded an interview with him. Later, Trump spoke favorably about this interview in his post on social media.
